Busy weekend.Saturday, I started at 9am setting up one of these till 1pm. Then we hung 120 light fixtures, ran electric to all of them and at sundown, raised the roof up to just under 40 ft. Then at dark we started focusing the lights. I got cut loose about 10pm because they only needed 2 guys in addition to the tech crew they brought in. Those 2 guys got out at 1am. On Sunday I went back in at 9am to set up a dance floor under said roof, this took until 1:30 or so. Then we got a break until the dance troupe showed up at 3pm. We ran tech rehersal till 5pm. The house opened up at 7pm and the show started at 7:30. I ran follow spot 1 and house lights (don't ask) for the troupe till the end of the show at 9pm. We did some basic cleanup and I got out of there at 10:30 pm. If you really want a workout, that's the job for you. |
