Penn & TellerLadies and gentlemen I would like to first bring your attention to this journal that has been on comm stats the past couple of days. Now SloeBombFizz has every right to rip this guy a new asshole for being a dumbass. He got a lot of praise from members several members of this site and rightfully so. He was even called a "hero" by a couple of members and did "Good job for standing up for what you believe and putting that idiot in his place." I say to you SloeBombFizz, "good job."Oh there's one little problem. This actually happened right up to the point where (in the story above) I pointed out that he worked in a bank and what we did. Yes ladies and gentlemen, most of this conversation never took place, including all of the really horrible things the imaginary person said and that is bullshit. Let's take a look at the actual conversation.  Now I'm not sure if it stops at this point or stops prior to this point, but what the imaginary supervisor said is nowhere near as bad as what was said in the second half. Simply said: Sloe shouldn't have painted a picture of the devil and said "this is the guy who represents the other side." He honestly finds no problem with what he did. When someone says: Good job for standing up for what you believe and putting that idiot in his place. SloeBombFizz is not exemplifying his own position against the hypothetical arguer. He talks about "Integrity, Honor, Responsibility, and Conscience" but shows none when he makes an argument up and accepts praise without making it clear the conversation didn't happen. SloeBombFizz needs to make an apology to those he has misled. Please note I'm not saying his point of view is invalid, just his methods. It seems to me you have more problem with the content rather than whether or not it actually happened. Not true. I agree with his journal for the most part. |
