My lovely daystarts with last night and playing Left 4 Dead 2 with Taylor and two guys from my hall. It was super fun. Move to some Halo 3 action with the boys. I'm always good for some Halo 3 action.So we go to bed.... at like 3:30... and I wake up this morning and take off for the Polar Plunge. About 100 people participated... stripped down.... and we dove into the lake. It was like 40 degrees out though, so it wasn't really that extreme. I honestly wasn't even cold. The water was, at most 35 degrees though. So it was freezing when we were in the there, but that really didn't last very long. Follow that up with some Blink 182 blasting in the car on the way back to the dorms, and it felt just like summer time. Back at the dorms, we didn't feel like taking off our bathing suits so after some jumping around and singing with the girls in my suite (typical, right?) we decided to go play frisbee in the court yard. Bikinis and Snowboots frisbee... since there's still a lot of snow out there. It wasn't even cold... except for those dives. Super fun though, and a lot of people yelled at us. So when that wound down... my friend Hannah and I decided to go snowboarding. It was about 45 degrees and sunny and BEAUTIFUL. The hill was slushy but there's still tons and tons of snow there so conditions were, surprisingly, awesome. We had so much fun. It's just been... a great day. Now Taylor and I are making dinner for some friends. IT FEELS LIKE SUMMER, AND IM SO READY FOR A CHANGE. |
