18 year-old male from Coon Rapids, MN I'm Darth_Venom you know the internet fab that goes from website to website, here to talk to you about Friend Requests, now I know there are a few of you out there thinking why can't I be this guys friend well there's a funny story to that, you see I use to have a very big friend list but only talking to a few people and others just you know there made me think I need a smaller friends list so I cut my friends list by 10 pages and left it at a one, now if you wanna be my friend tough luck becuase you have to know me in person.
I'm pretty excited. Even if it doesn't end up turning out like I hope, just being hyped about Spidey movies again is cool. I remember back when the first movie came out, I was in 8th grade. I was so excited waiting to here who was gonna play Spidey, and now I get that excitement all over again.
I just hope it goes as well as the other recent superhero reboots.
Well lets be clear, this is a reboot, not a remake. They aren't simply going to redo the first set of movies. Think Ed Norton's The Incredible Hulk vs Eric Bana's Hulk or Chris Nolan's Batman as apposed to Tim Burton's.
This is a chance for a new start for the Spider-man franchise. A chance to make Spider-man an acrobatic, wise-cracking, hero instead of an angsty, emo, crybaby.
I finished catching up on GL. That series is a lot like The Walking Dead because there are so many lanterns... they keep killing them off when you think they're untouchable (Sinestro Corps) and then more go down when they come across the Red and Orange Corps.
And now Black Lanterns and it's like... super death deluxe.
I read 5 months worth of comics in a week... like 80 or so in all and I'm totally jonesing for more. Too bad I have to wait until January for the next bunch of issues.
I finished reading what is essentially every green lantern comic leading up to the Blackest Night. I still can't believe they let the Lanterns use lethal force now. That's crazy.
I've got exciting news to share with you. I've started to write music. I've got lyrics to a song and I plan to record it over winter break. I'll have to put something on youtube once it's recorded. I'll put the lyrics into a journal.
