Profession: A Member in Good Standing in the The Worshipful Company of Tin Plate Workers as well as the Worshipful Company of Scientific Instrument Makers In other words, a tinker or artificer. Skills/Training: The tradition of tinker or artificer is one handed down through the generations or through internship. In my case, it has been a family tradition passed down through the generations. Equipment: Tools of the trade, so to speak. Snips, Crimps, pliers, drivers, etc; regarding weapons, there are always some about the workshop with a few fully functional and loaded while most are in various states of repair and/or adjustment. Appearance: ![]() Average height and a bit plump about the middle. Definitely balding and with narrow eyes that lack expression. Age is well past middle and a general facial appearance of having stopped ageing with features carved in flesh rather than stone. Expression is in the hands with scarring apparent from cuts to burns due to years of intricate work. Around town, a sleeveless coat with multiple pockets both inside and out and well worn workingman’s pants finished out with steel toed boots. For a hat, an old officer’s hat with the brass removed. Date of Birth: August 28, 1921 Gender: Male History: Educated in my trade at home with general knowledge gained through the American Public Education System; completing two years of college when the War broke out. Enlisted in the Army Air Force and washed out as a pilot and became a bombardier as well as the back up navigator. During times of inclement weather when the squadron was down, assisted in rebuilding the bombing sights as well as other equipment and weapons used in the bombers. After the war, mustered out and lived with my Grandfather while assisting in the rebuilding of London and applied for citizenship. Due to connections of my Grandfather, citizenship was quickly granted and I partnered with him in the business and became the sole owner when he passed. Legal Status: Naturalized Citizen. Other: During the War, my Grandfather assisted in the war effort through various black projects from both MI5 and MI6. He also did special work for the OSS as well as the Russians at a time then they were England’s Allies. He maintained his contacts, even with the Russians, but his loyalty was always to Mother England. With his death and my taking over the business, British Intelligence as well as the CIA contacted me and requested that I continue in his stead. His Russian friends also contacted me but, while friendly, I insisted that if a joint project was launched, I would be happy to assist but respectfully declined to work for the KGB unless British or American Intelligence was also intimately involved. Regarding services rendered; all manner of repairs to normal as well as "unique" items. Black project items range from specialized weapons, silencers, spy gadgets and explosive devices. |
