Totally not dead.Apparently I was only playing with your delicate emotions when I said I was going to be online once a week. Here's the lowdown on what's been going on:1.) Because of his job, my dad recently moved to Champaign-Urbana, IL. As I wasn't working, I was very involved in the whole process, which included going down there to help him house-hunt and be the person on-site when the movers packed things in Milwaukee and delivered them in Illinois. This meant that I was spending a lot of time at his places here and in Urbana, i.e. not at my apartment. 2.) My job hunting started to pay off right around the time Dad was moving: I had interviews with two different companies for two similar positions right around the same time. 3.) One of those companies made me an offer, which I accepted. I just finished my second week, and I'm still adjusting to the new schedule. It's been a lot of "get up early, haul my ass to work, come home, fall asleep." With any luck, I'll be able to actually stay up to a not-depressing hour soon. I don't have time tonight to get caught up on everything here, but with any luck I'll be able to do it within a week. Until then, don't die or anything. |
