as much as i ahte to giv up the last thread, this one is for the best. i remember anytime i would bring up a comic movie that wasnt DC related i would get flammed so bad. i say its time to embrace the comic boobk movie thread.
Great to see a new comic movie thread, i missed most of the last one, and couldent keep up, so i can get in on one now. woot.
Well i begin by comenting on the fantastic four movie. I personly think the comics suck, but the movie looks like it will be eccelent. though i think they need some one older to be invisible woman. thoughts
well there is the fact that the invisible woman will not be int his movie....but it will have the invisible girl, hence, no age problem.....the comics have always been cutting edge sci-fi...ever since it was created as Marvels response (by the same creator) to Challengers of the Unknown. If you want good FF comics, check out Ultimate FF...it rox!!
That's what thought too, but she looks like the role. Unfortunately, the Incredibles is too similar to FF and came out first. It's probably the best animated movie I've seen, and even though it was animated, will probably make FF look not as good.
Any word on future Marvel movies that are supposed to be coming out? Iron Man, Ghost Rider?
Ghost Rider starring Nicholas Cage, villain IS Mephisto, will be the Danny Ketch story Manthing to premeire April 30 Sci-fi channel Foreverman(WTF?) to premiere next year Spiderman3 and Punisher 2 to premiere in 07
u sure its Nicholas Cage as Ghost Rider? well any way i know that there making iron man, Captain America, and u frogot X3 man. i hard a romor in my comic shop but still i dont think its true. but still there is a posibility, they say that Marvel will film the Avengers. but still i have my doupts.
so what's a comic book that will never be made into a movie, but should? let's hear from everyone, i'll start.
silver surfer was the coolest when he didnt speak and we knew nothing about him. so a silver surfer movie where ss is completely silent would rock, but it'll never be done, cause only the hardcore comic geeks would go see a movie where the protagonist doesnt speak. who would play ss? i think barry pepper would be wicked awsome! comments?
he could be a guy in a green body suit and the CGI effect of him being silver could be added in later. take I Robot for example. sonny the robot was actually alan tyduk in a green suit doing all the motions then later they replaced that with the robot. they could do a similar thing with the silver surfer, however im sure it would be an extreemly expensive endeavour and i dont think the masses really wnat to see the silver surfer yet, hes more of a die hard comic book lover hero.
