Some people were enjoying this in my journal, so I decided to spread the word. Fans of The Karate Kid know that the film ends with Danny winning and being carried off in victory. The final shot of the film shows his mentor, Mr. Miyagi, smile and give a single nod before the frame freezes and fades out. Some friends and I agreed that every film should end this way! Here's the example I posted in my journal:
Return of the Jedi
Luke walks away from the Ewok celebration and sees the Force spirits of Ben Kenobi, Yoda, and even his father watching over him. Leia walks over and hugs Luke. The Jedi spirits smile at the two of them.
Mr. Miyagi smiles and nods.
See? It works perfectly. So, go wild. Post your own examples of real film endings that would work with a Mr. Miyagi ending. Extra mod points to anybody who actually posts movie files of edited film endings.

Fight Club
Edward Norton, having finally gotten rid of Tyler Durden, sends his men away and stands with Marla, looking out the window just as the bombs go off and financial buildings all around crumble to the ground.
Christian Bale just raped the shit out of the council and killed Father and is standing looking out a window at all the prozium factories blowing up. Close up on Bale and he smiles ever so slightly.
serenity takes off with river and mal at the helm. the ship leaves orbit and then a piece of it falls off. mall asks what was that. we cut to a shot of mr miyagi. he smiles and nods.
Donnie lies down on his bed, knowing that he must die if the world is to continue to exist and falls asleep. Then the roof caves in and the Jet engine crushes Donnie and shakes the house.
Mr. Miyagi gets out of his bed, smiles and nods at Donnie.
Capt. Miller looks up at the P-51 Mustangs flying overhead "Angels on our shoulders." He mutters as he stares at the sky with a smile on his face and then dies. Ryan and Ryvan look at the dead officer with sadness but are happy that the battle is over. Turns to a screenshot of Mr. Miyagi smiling and nodding at the two soldiers.
