If you are in the Indianapolis area, ATTENTION! Halopenguin and I are trying to put a get together... together. So if you want to hang out with some Hoosiers contact us... it should be sometime in August/September. And if we can get some of the creators to come up, that would be awesome, too. :) Anyway, contact us if you are interested and if you have ideas of stuff we can do.
Well, I for one can say I would be sure to follow through on setting this up.. I definitely would love for another type of even to happen like TO, even if we don't have any RvB staff, it would still be great.
I'm going to talk to Lukie about what all went into making RvBTO happen, and see if we can follow some similar steps.
A couple of big point in our favor- 1. It's in the states. That makes it easier on many people. 2. Indianapolis is a very major hub for flights, so there would be no trouble with people flying in. 3. We are, after all, the cross roads of America- relatively close to most people. (sorry west coast.) 4. While it would be kind of redundant to have another one so very very soon, having it just a little ways in the future would give more time for preparation. 5. We're flexible on where it is too- for example, I know at one point the RvB people mentioned having something at Purdue. I actually GO to Purdue, so it would be very easy for me to arrange something there.
All in all, it's very possible, but my main worry is this- would people want to come to another thing so soon? If there's interest enough, I can make it happen.
i live 35 miles south of indy. as long as its a weekend i should be able to swing it. the later in september the better. but im game anytime for late this year. cept for october. i have 2 weddings and my birthday to that month.
Ok, I'm thinking sometime in october... perhaps when all the fall breaks are happening... so if you guys could email me with your fall break dates (all of you in school, that is) that will help me figure out when we can do dis thing.
