No, this has nothing to do with Harry Potter... it's actually a book series written before HP... anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else had read the books... I liked the first three, but the fourth one went off into a weird direction with one of the smaller characters... anyway, just seeing if anyone else had read them... I thought they were good, atleast....

In reply to Kschenke, #1:

I really liked those books. I didn't read the fourth one, though, but it looks like I shouldn't have. They had some pretty sweet plot going on.

Yeah, those were good books. They got sort of old for me after a while, though.

I read them and the first couple were pretty good, but then they started getting weird...I stopped after that strange one where her mother dies and they are doing some magical spell to try to stop it and then her mom is all like "nobody can stop death" and such...grr.

I love the series. I don't care how old I get, I think the books are great! I actually read the Wizard's Oath out loud the first time I read So You Want to Be a Wizard and was - well, not disappointed, because I knew nothing would happen, but sad anyway. Haha.

I think A Wizard Abroad is my favorite.

Those were pretty good, but I agree they got a bit weird for the last few. The Lone Power is really one of the most interesting villains I've seen in fantasy. Of course, now it makes me think of Sandman, with the Endless, but when they first started up, I don't think that idea had been explored much.
