EA Cuts Prices Prior to 360 Launch By David Radd -- News Writer Published 3:25 PM CDT, November 14, 2005
Prices shaved $10
According to Reuters, in an effort to spur sales before the next generation Electronic Arts reduced the price on a number of current-gen titles today. This includes the console titles NBA Live 06, Burnout Revenge, NASCAR 06, Marvel Nemesis and SSX On Tour. Madden 06 and FIFA 06 might also see a $10 price cut after Thanksgiving.
"At EA, we make pricing decisions on a title-by-title, market-by-market basis," commented EA spokesman Jeff Brown, on the company's pricing policy. "As we've said in our quarterly reports, this point in the console transition is historically marked by softness in pricing."
Well it might be a good thing if they cut the prices on most of their games. They may be on the verge of creating a monopoly and taking over the world but they have a few good games to offer for the ppl that like games like NASCAR and NCAA.
i noticed one reason ea games should b cheaper and its cuz the servers r really slow alot of the time and idk if it jus my luck but its never that way with other games only ea
EA can rot in hell for all I care, they publish the worst games! They are like the Microsoft of video games, although Microsoft have Halo and they will monopolize that so run for the hills.
