What is the most money you have ever found on the street. Today I found 160$ blowing around in the parking lot. How much have you guys found and where?

Found a $100 on the floor of a Subway and a couple days later I found $30 next to the reference desk at the library of my college. I almost feel bad, cause I saw the person drop the $100, but all I did was put my foot on it so they didn't see it. Yes, I know I'm an ass.

Yeah, I have no problem taking money someone drops. If they tell me they droped it, and ask me to move my foot, I'd say "NO! This is my magical foot spot, you can't have it!" Post edited 2/12/06 3:57PM

Besides, anyone who is stupid enough to keep money in their pockets, so it can easily fall out, doesn't deserve to keep it. Now, if I saw someone drop a bunch of bills, all waded up, I'd return it.

I found a $10 bill in a bookstore after this lady bitched out the clerk for two minutes. I'm sure it was hers, and I would have returned it but the clerk gave me this look that told me she deserved what she got. Post edited 2/12/06 6:30PM

well I really didn't steal the money I found. It was in the middle of the parking lot and I feel bad because the lasy in the gamestop before me asked how much a regular xbox was for her children and the guy said 140. Now I feel bad for finding it because of most people I need it the least I am well off.
