A smart, charming teenage girl, Hayley probably shouldn't be going to a local coffee shop to meet Jeff, a 30-something fashion photographer she met on the Internet. But Hayley's ready to have fun, and soon she's mixing screwdrivers at Jeff's place and stripping for an impromptu photo shoot. It's Jeff's lucky night – until his vision blurs and he passes out.
Turns out Hayley isn't as innocent as she looks after all. In fact, she has a lot on her mind. Like getting Jeff to confess to his penchant for teenage girls – and to what he did to Donna Mauer, the girl who disappeared from Jeff's favorite coffee shop.
When Jeff awakens, he's tied to a chair. If he doesn't cooperate, Hayley has something to help him along--a little surgical procedure she picked up on the Internet. All she needs is an ice pack. And a knife...
I really haven’t been following this movie much, but it has been getting very good reviews. The only reason I decided to watch the trailer was due to Ellen Page starring in it and she is Playing Kitty Pryde in X-3. I watched the trailer and I am really looking forward to it now. And after reading the actual synopsis I am looking forward to it even more then I was before. It looks and sounds good to me so I figured I would try and let people know about it since I rarely make any threads and I didn’t see one for it already.
Well the official site has been updated and apparnetly their are alot of plot twists. I am really really looking forward to this now. and it is set to get a limited release on April 14th.
Hell yeah, but i think the movie looks really good also, it's not just because i plan on marrying her, the movie is also getting really really amazing reviews.
Well I have talked about the movie enough. I wanted to see it. I bought it Yesterday and finished watching it today. That movie is intense. I havn't quite figured out yet if I like it or not though. I have heard numerous cases of people feeling bad for the apparent Pedophile. Although he never admited to being one. But I understand why people felt bad for him. The acting in top notch, the directing is good and the script is intelligent.
As far as the plot goes. Without giving away the actual story. Because their is more to it then what the plot says. A 14 year old girl wants to get revenge on an apparent 32 year old pedophile. She plans on doing that with some surgical untesils and an icepack. She plans on performing a castration.
It's not for the weak of heart. Although their was no nudity or really gore. Their were times I felt like my balls we being cut off. And I still feel like I might visiti the bathroom and puke.
It also makes you think. I heard about a case of some girl tieing a guy up in a hotel room. He though it would be a good time. She didn't have that in mind. She died him up and put a hair curling iron thing right up his ass and plugged it in and left. he was tied up and gagged so no body could hear him. Although I don't know if that is simply an urban legend, But I am really going to second guess anything I say to females or do. i would hate to meat a psycho and have her get the wrong impression of me.
So to recap. I reccomend everyone to see this movie. It is rated R and did earn it. Although I think if their was a PG-17 it would have got that. It's more then a PG-13 but not quite an R. Not all the time anyway. I highly reccomend this movie. Like I said, I don't know if I liked it or not but I think everyone should see it.
Instead of some pedophile raping and dumping some 15 year olds, the 15 year old if torturing the pedophile! So who's the bad guy now? HMMMM?
It's real sad that most people that see Candy think this is the point it is trying to make. It's simply a twist on the old "standard". That's as deep as the film's point gets. More than that, it's akin to an old Hitchcock film, but turned on its head.
It's not about feeling sorry for pedophiles at all.
The entire castration scene is amazing. It reminded me of Jaws, how the camera never goes below the waist. You can't help yourself now.
lol making threads becuse the old thread is 2 years old
I just finished watching this movie, and wow. I got it because of Ellen Page, I mean, I had no idea what it was, but it drove me wild. It was great, kept me on the edge of my seat, I was freaked out. I recommend it to anyone who likes Ellen Page, or a good Thriller.
