Hello all and welcome to Hollywood Pictionary! This game is brought to you by ShadowKitten and inspired by the game "Scene It"
The Object of the Game
To correctly guess the Name of an Actor, Actress, or Movie by combining the images provided by the current host.
The Official Rules
1. Only one specific guess per post.
2. No SPAM posting (several guesses in a row or several chat messages in a row)
3. If a person guesses correctly, said person will receive mod points from current participants of the game including the host.
4. Only one person can host a picture at a time (otherwise it becomes confusing for people guessing!). IMPORTANT If you're going to host, announce that you are and make sure you're going to be around for awhile!
5. Each image provides a word (or part of a word, a synonym of a word, or sound) that can be combined to form a Name or Movie Title.
An example of each is provided below:
Actor/Actress Name
To Solve: First Name -> first picture = sand, second picture = draw -> Together = Sandra Surname -> first picture = bull, second picture = lock -> Together = Bullock ANSWER: Sandra Bullock
Movie Title
To Solve: first picture = fern, second picture = gull, third picture = E ANSWER: Fern Gully
1. It is helpful to players if you combine the images into one image ahead of time. This can be done in Photoshop or MSPaint. It saves you linking multiple pictures and saves players the loading of odd sized images that may be visually hard to combine.
2. Once combined you can host these images on a free image server like PhotoBucket.com, but please remember not to name the file as the answer IE: SandraBullock.jpg. Anyone who then clicks on your image or passes over it with a mouse will be able to see the answer.
3. If you’re going to use images straight from the Internet, please make sure they do not have the word you’re hinting at in the link IE: Fern.jpg and that the image SIZE is small (this prevents large images from gobbling up the whole screen and saves loading time and confusion!).
With all that said... Enjoy, and let the game begin!
Everyone, thanks for visiting the thread. I will give you the night to think up some picture puzzles, and slap them together. I will be back to host tomorrow morning. Here's one to get you started:
the point of the game isn't to be rediculously hard, but to make picture puzzles and have fun. that's why there are no hint options. Players get it, or they dont, and then the host gets a point.
