That's right, I went there. It's on tonight. I know it's possibly the most kitsch, idiotic event in the European calendar, but for whatever reason it's always worth a giggle. Will you be watching tonight? What for? Are you going to have a Eurovision party? Do you just watch for the ascerbic wonder that is Terry Wogan's commentary? Do the politics make you chuckle?
Personally, I find it pretty damned funny - my housemates and I will be watching tonight to see if anyone can come up with a worse entry that the UK's piece of trash. And if France are going to take it way too seriously again.
Do you think they will now join Celine Dion, Abba et al and find wider fame? Or are they a flash in the pan one hit wonders (obviously not in Finland, where they are actually quite big...)
