my friend josh uses trillian, so when i type LOL in and send it to him [i'm on aim], he sees a big smily face instead of LOL. so, just for that, i use the expression a lot more. it's also fun to sound it out - ELL OH ELL. good times.
I hated when that happened so much. It wouldn't be as bad but the smiley would always be accompanied by that sound of the little kid laughing. It was disturbing.
I normally say "ha" or "haha" more than I say lol. I'm not addicted.
I try to say 'hahaha' or 'freakin hilarious', but the occasional (You know what three letters) pops out. Sometimes it just is the best thing to say... well, I guess it's not really something said... Then it would be like "Lull". Boy, that sounds gay, uh, so did that. Okay I'm sticking with 'haha.' But can I still use LMAO? I just learned what that stands for!!!
