I am sure many users loved the video commentaries that were added onto the website. I have seen the commentaries on the other DVD's about twice each and figured it would be a very cool (need better word) concept of tapping yourselves while you sat down and did the commentary. That way the viewer would be able to see the commentators reactions and actually seeing them while they are explaining what is happening on the DVD. Purhaps a spilt screen format, where the top was the actual episode and the bottom is the commentators.
I dunno about anyone else, but Id pay 20 bucks more for the DVD if that was included.
I've seen DVDs show the people actually doing commentary. It's no where near as interesting as it sounds. It's watching people watch a movie only with microphones. Mystery Science Theater 3000 style seems more interesting.
I don't really care how they record the Season 5 commentary - I just want the audio to synch up to whatever video they use. 'Cause on Season 3, the video is a little ahead of the commentary track, and on Season 4, the video is a little behind the commentary track. It didn't totally ruin the experience, but it was very noticeable at times(even Gus pointed it out DURING the Season 3 commentary), and not very professional.
I know that. But the video and audio should still synch-up properly. That's not the kind of thing that it's okay to be unprofessional about, unless they had done it as a joke, which they didn't.
