contact harvest is the fifth book in the halo series.
It is going to take place at the beginning of the covenant human war.
harvest was the planet system that was first attacked by the covenant. This was explained in the first, and third book multiple times. This book will be written by one of bungies own, and not by any of the previous authors
not necessarily The chief didn't have the weapon in Halo 1, but that doesn't mean it didn't exist. They never said that the weapon was new in the storyline. You just didn't use it until halo 2
the unsc forces didn't get the battle rifle until the third book, and they even say that the battle rifle was a new weapon at the time. but the cover still does look sweet
yea i guess. also i listened to the new bungie podcast. and joseph was in it. and they were talking about the battle rifle being in his hands. Joe said himself that it could just be an older version of the battle rifle. Kinda of how like the AK-47 was made in 1947, and 60 years later is still the worlds most popular assault weapon. only with a few modifications. maybe we are looking at an older early version of the battle rifle who knows
