i'm not sure if this is the correct place to put this, but here we shall be posting tabs, and song names of acoustic songs for us acoustic lovers get more of what we love.
I love listening to acoustic songs, and have trouble finding really good acoustic songs that i really like. that are not really easy or really hard to play. I also would love a chance to hear more acoustic songs that the people of roosterteeth like. so show off your tabs, and songs. the song can be any acoustic. the songs may have electric guitar in the background and some electric solo's even if it gets a little heavy, but the songs must almost all be acoustic, and i don't care if i like it or not or if anyone else likes it or not your songs are welcome here.
i have found out that i really like some of the heavy metal bands acoustic songs. like the band death. i hate all of there music, but have this one acoustic song on there myspace that is just awesome.
There's some acoustics that I just love listening to. But I forget which they were cause I've been listening to Minutes to Midnight and Meteora Albums from Linkin Park too much. Yeah. Stupid right.
I write a lot of acoustic stuff, just because my performances are on a singer/songwriter solo track right now, and an acoustic guitar is good for that. Plus, I want to write things that I can just sit down and play for people.
My favorite band is Trivium, i also love other bands like shadows fall, saliva, atreyu, avenged sevenfold, shinedown, disturbed, System of a Down, and all the sounds from RvB
You like bad music, that's why Death is 2 TRUE 4 U.
i like the guitar, but the singing... i don't know if it's the recording or just bad singing.... i know i suck as singing myself so i'm not going to pretend that i can do it better
i dig me some acoustic jammin. you know what sounds good on acoustic? everything. well, maybe not everything. if you dig some kickass acoustic gitty jams, i recommend some Stephen Lynch, Tenacious D, and Flight of the Conchords. well, that's if you dig some laughs with your music. otherwise, uh, it's whatever you want to listen to. Rodrigo y Gabriela is something to check out, though.
i'm into acoustic Versions and renditions, myself. i.e. Def Lepperd's Hysteria and The Eagle's Hotel California. Rodrigo y Gabriela's rendition of Stairway to Heaven is pretty cool. Glassjaw sounds good on acoustic guitar, also.
i like the intro to the light that blinds by shadows fall... if it wasn't in drop c i would try and learn it... the rest of the song isn't acoustic though
In reply to Totengraber, #28: I agree, when used correctly, the acoustic guitar is a very powerful instrument. Also, everybody listen to the guitar trio (John Mclaughlin, Al Di Meola and Paco De Lucia). Brilliant.
stillborn by Black Lable Socity (sorry bobut the spelling) this is a kick ass song, i think it's been over dubbed thoug, but the is and acustic version, it sounds hard as hell though
