Did you enjoy the Wii edition of Resident Evil 4? Did you find its control scheme infinitely superior to trying to aim with archaic thumbsticks? Were you disappointed to hear that RE5 would not be coming to the Wii? Then you may be interested to know that a petition has started circling the internet in the hopes of convincing Capcom to release RE5: Wii Edition in the future.

Yeah... it's just impossible. The new game is just going to be too much, graphically, for the Wii. Yeah, it'd be awesome to play it like the Re4 Wii Edition, but really I think that there'd be a big loss in gameplay value if they had to change it so much just for the Wii.
Plus, Re5 has been pushed back to 'sometime 2009'...
It doesn't matter. AT this point they would have to start the game again from scratch. It's not a simple transition like RE4 was. They would have to redo the grpahics engine, since the Wii can't take it, remake the game with the control scheme, lower the lighting effects, which are a huge part of them game, etc. That's a lot of effort. Besides, do yout hink companies care that much about online petitions? I've seen petitions for just about everything you can imagine. How many people do you think wanted RE4 for the Xbox? Did that happen?
RE:UC and RE5 is not the same thing. RE:UC is a recollection of 0,1,2, and 3. Even if you wanted to argue that they add up to the same thing, 0+1+2+3=6, not 5
i agree re4 was horrible on the wii compared to the ps2 and gamecube version. i just dont think capcom can really recapture the same game in a remake. ill still try it i just dont think it will be as good as he 360 version.
