*Jason gets up and heads towards his designated trailer and jeep*
I'm gonna go make sure no one stole an of my stuff.
*When jason comes back out he's writing in a small black booklet.*
note to self: think of a way to make up for being a phsycotic dick. preferably one that involves no bodily harm to self. after coming up with a way run it by trevor and possibly the new guy, Micheal Summers.
*Jason sits at a tableat the mess for the first time. he has an ashtray that has a small mountain of cigarette butts thats still growing and his fifth cup of coffee to his right. to his left is a small stack of books. he seems completely taken in by the various manuals and "How To" books at his side. smoking and drinking his coffee seem very difficult considering he was only able to rmove the faceplate and not the actual helmet. most of the books are about mechanics, a few where medical, and one was a leather bound bible. every once in a while he would look at the bible and consider praying, but he alway dismissed it and go through the rather awkward procedure of lighting another cigarette*
my plan to kill anything organic in that compound with that anthrax was a bust. now I'll have to rely on my speed and ability to dodge annything that comes my way!...
*Jason looks at the bible and opens to the beginning*
(Just looked it up on Gamespot. The warthog fires missiles. The NRL is not a NRL. Its a needler carbine that fires the needles in shots of three which explode simultaneously.)
Reviews message and organizes a pod drop of supplies which includes food canisters for Private JHM and nanite pens. In quick order, the pod is dispatched.

Obviously, you didn't read the previous posts. It isn't the UNSC that is in orbit about this planet, it is Q.M.S.S.. Also, when did the concept of Engineers become exclusive to the Covenant? Engineers have been a part of warfare for centuries - well before electricity and thus well before computer gaming.
Forerunner armor has been previously explained but suffice it to say, FTP. The same for the energy garrotes incorporated into the S.M.B. Armor - FTP.
Clan of the Lonesome Pines - Obsidian Century *Centurion Swift Walker selects a patch of level group with a nearby stream and directs his Century to make a strong camp.* *Looking out at the marked devastation on a patch of ground at Encampment Chicago, he correctly deduces the handiwork of Mutant Bears.* *His Scout Teams report of the Granite Century and its recent losses.* *With his decanuses working on the camp, Centurion Swift Walker checks his stores and selects five females to carry Honey Ale and sweet breads then strolls over to the Granite Century's camp to discuss matters with its Centurion.*
Meanwhile, *Aboard the Lost Colony, continue to process reports.*
*Dispatch Engineer Teams to begin work in the Asteroid Field on a special project.* *Note that Major Peterson has nearly completed work on laying more pipe to the Clan of the Deep Woods of the Rising Winter Sun which, if memory served, produced Catapult Engineers by the score.* *Compose a flash message to Major Peterson regarding the Clan and its abilities to raise an Mutant Bear Engineer Century.* *Leave instructions to generate additional swords, javelins and shields to the Fabrication Division presently assigned work space in the Parabola-Class Freighter Popham Colony as well as marker stones of various sizes capable of being carved upon.* *Get up and walk over to the Rec Room for a mocha frappuccino as well as a fresh canister of coffee for the C&C coffee pot.
*Unbeknown to trevor1001, 17 damaged robots are presently within Encampment Chicago.* *These robots have stopped at various locations when a failure occurred within their drive systems during the years that has passed from their conception and construction to the present.* *The claw mechanism and the beam weapons for most remain active. However, a few have simply corroded to mechanical statues and simply stand and rust.*
(Not all of the robots will be encountered during a mission in and out of the Encampment. There are no mobile robots at present.)
*In Encampment Chicago* *Silence follows the rocket blast that takes out a robot.* *In a recessed alcove, a robot senses an intruder.* *Powerplant goes hot, then critical, then explodes in a volley of steam and mechanical parts.*
*In Encampment Chicago* *A robot senses an intruder.* *Powerplant goes hot.* *A mechanical claw reaches out and grabs the intruder.* *The beam weapon activates but corrosion forces the weapon to "slowly" edge ever closer to the grabbed intruder.* *The intruder can observe a scorching and melting of a nearby wall as the beam moves ever closer.
*Meanwhile, aboard the Lost Colony, WO-4 DustBunny01 returns to C&C and starts a fresh pot of coffee then sits back down at his console.*
*In Encampment Chicago* *A robot senses an intruder.* *Powerplant goes hot.* *The robot engages its drive unit but only one tread responds, pivoting the robot.* *The outstretched claw catches a partially fallen beam and the roof collapses.* *Powerplant approaches critical as venting is impossible due to the massive debris now atop of the robot.*
*Meanwhile, aboard the Lost Colony* *Check on various inventories of spare ship parts and order up six Deuterium Fusion Reactor, 48 thruster units and the necessary components to connect the two. Also order up 6 NAVCOM systems with dumb AI.*
*In Encampment Chicago.* *The robot's power plant continues to overheat and enters critical phase.* *With the level of dust in the air combined with venting lubricating oil, a massive explosion of the partially collapsed building results. Anyone in an open area near the building is thrown to the ground rather violently.
{similar to a silo explosion or also known as a dust initiator for those inclined to IED via locally available materials.}
