Keynote Presentations on a Windows PC? [ 1 ]

In my final year of high school, every student was given a Macbook for school use. I created a keynote presentation on it and saved the presentation to a flash drive.

I'm now trying to access the presentation on my Windows based laptop. However, the file only appears as a folder containing the images and information from the original file.

My question is: Is there a way to view the original Keynote file on a Windows based PC? If not, is there a freeware program that can convert the '.key' file into something that can be viewed on Windows?

Please don't suggest that I go into Keynote and export the presentation as a Powerpoint or anything else, because I lost access to the school Macbook (and therefore Keynote) when I graduated.

If you can open it up in Keynote somewhere, you can export it to powerpoint.

I don't know of any way to open it outside of Keynote otherwise.

Unfortunately I believe you're SOL if you don't have access to a Mac with Keynote anymore. As far as I know, there's no way to open it without Keynote.

I don't think you can without being able to open it in keynote first. But I'm not exactly sure.

You could always ask someone with a Mac (I have one) to open it for you and export it to a powerpoint file...

Personally, I'd head over to the MacApple Thread, and see if someone in there could convert it for you.

That is, unless it's a personal or confidential file.
