Come on, everyone knows the true way to pack for TO is to do it 3 hours before you have to leave for the airport, sleep for 45 minutes and then take off. Then you can just sleep through the whole flight/train ride.
Dan! Just been looking at flights, Swiss International Airlines go through London to Toronto and back again for £515. Instead of British Airways being about £750. So... Lets get on a flight full of Swiss people! =]
Also I am probably gonna make it a bit of a holiday and stay out for like two weeks to get my monies worth [and for other obvious reasons..]
On the slight chance that I end up being able to go, would anyone driving through Buffalo on Thursday or Friday be willing to pick me up from the airport?
I'm going, regardless of my work status at the time. If it means quitting a job, then so be it! I'm not missing the chance to see you guys again.........
I went with hobbitboy's advice and booked with Canadian Affair which was something along the lines of £420 from Birmingham to Toronto and back. Never heard of them before but the price was better than what I was finding so I risked it. I was expecting no frills but there was no fuss either, although because the majority of passengers were Indian they served this terrible curry.
EDIT: Total for booking and having seats with a tiny bit extra legroom is £506 this year, flying out from Glasgow and back.
We'll be just like Quebec and secede from the country but still keep the currency. That sounds a lot like when a kid moves out of their parents' house and says "I would still like to have you give me money............"
