A New game from Codemasters, who brought us other racing titles such as Dirt and Grid... I see a trend developing here...
Anyway, it's a game set in the near future where global warming has royally fucked over the world with water and bad weather. and earthquakes somehow, I don't know how but it did. You're part of a group of people who just like to race and so with most of the world's oil supply dried up you go racing arround on quads, monster trucks, muscle cars, and semi trucks. Really eco friendly there.
The Game's Site boasts 100,000 Miles of open world game play. they basically mapped out the entire West coast from BC to Mexico and threw twisters and floods in there. Something that's also advertised is the ability for long races lasting from 40 minutes to 4 hours. Goddamn, and those are Point to Point Races.
It comes out on the 26th of May so go reserve your copy now if you like this stuff. I got mine reserved and paid off already. Gamespot says it's a combination of Burnout Paradise and Midnight Club LA, SOLD!
Anyway took a look at the video and if thats anything to go by game plays gonna be pretty hectic which means it's my kinda driving game, I hate certain games where once you get a second car you end up with a 30 second gap on the first conrner (NFS for example).
