On another note, great editing and a effects. I find it cool and a bit creepy that your brothers easily make perfect versions of your younger self. Lastly, you should be a Youtube star or something. Your video's are consistently great and funny. Your serious video's are also great because they convey the message behind them effectively, and you seem to put yourself emotionally as well. It's probably because your a great actor too.
First of all the concept, while it may have been deep and meaningful to you, it a film school cliche. Anybody who goes through a film program has probably seen dozens of projects like exactly like this. You're not original, and you're video is going to have no meaning to anyone but yourself.
Knock it off the the after-effects shit, it looks unprofessional and like you just "acquired" a copy of it and you want to show it off.
That big graphic "it's too late." That shit is tacky as hell. Knock it off.
The lighting motif of the siren could work better if you had some actual fill light and weren't just using the siren effect to light your talent.
For the love of GOD, level your fucking horizon. Almost every shot in this video is off level, and to make it even worse, you're using a tripod.
in terms of your color timing, you really fucked it up in AE. I'm on a hardware-calibrated monitor and every shot is overly contrasty and saturated. And of course, it has no fucking shadow detail.
The fact that the note is unreadable is your fault and not youtube's. You didn't make the lettering big enough, get a tight enough shot of it, and light it so that it would actually be readable.
Overall I thought it was an overdone, terrible concept mired in a mediocre execution that was trying way too fucking hard.
Ok first, this was my first video using After effects so of course my effects suck. It's a very complex program and I wanted to try it out. So I looked up some basic tutorials.
Second, this was one of my videos that was made when I was younger. I was in 9th grade when I made this. 9TH GRADE.
What do you expect? Me to be professional? If so then you need to get out more.
3rd. For just beginning to make videos I think I did a pretty damn good job. And over a thousand people agree with me. If just seems you two trolls think other wise.

I come in here, give you my honest fucking opinion about your video, and you decide that real feedback is not what you want and you decide to shit all over me for it.
If you can't accept criticism that isn't fawning praise, than maybe you aren't ready for this forum. Go post on Gaia Online or some place like that.

If you wish to discount the opinions of people who have not made a film, and didn't like YOURS, then you MUST also ignore the opinions of anybody who likes your series, even if they have not made a web series themselves. However, since you are going to listen to any and all mindless praise, and not take any constructive criticism, it is a safe assumption that you are a lost cause, and not worth trying to help at this point.
IF we accept that only somebody who has created a work is qualified to criticize work within that medium or genre, than we must also accept as true that we are OBLIGATED to like anything outside of our own medium or genre. If you have never drawn a webcomic, how can you say that the latest, copy-paste spiky-haired animu webcomic on DrunkDuck or SmackJeeves is utter trash? Since you have never drawn a webcomic, you CAN'T say anything but mindless adoration. Because you have never written a story, than you are obligated to like any horrific slash fiction that you come across on FanFiction.Net.

You see, there is a difference between constructive criticism and just being a dick.
People talk good and bad about my videos all the time. I take their criticism and learn from it all the time. But you were being a critic AND a dick. Even in my post earlier I said "thanks for your opinion" I was just stating out the point that your a complete ass hole is all.
