Welcome back. To help clear things up a bit, I've streamlined the rules and guidelines put forth by Burnie, DiMono, and myself. It's a good idea to watch this thread for updates.
1. This forum is for promoting your projects. Not a band you like.
1a. Don't ask for money/donations in your posts. 1b. Don't link to adult sites. 1c. Don't post referral/affiliate links, like Amazon or free iPods or stuff like that. 1d. Don't post those dumb online games where you get points for people who click. 1e. Don't abuse the Friends or Karma system with links.
2. Basically, the determining factor is whether there are more than 1 things to download from your link. If yes, post it here. If no, post it elsewhere.
2a. Pimp your journals here 2b. Pimp your groups here. 2c. Do not make new threads specifically for your journal or RvB group. 2d. No contest threads
3. Don't artificially bump your own thread by posting in it ad nauseum.
4. Please respect this forum and those who post in it.
5. Constructive criticism is always welcome.
6. This forum is a no troll zone If you go into a thread for the express purpose of abusing the users inside, you will be banned from this forum. No warnings.
7. If you're not sure about whether or not you should start a new topic in here, ask me (Jengaship) and I'll clear it up for you. I'm here to help.
These rules may be modified as needed.
If you want additional exposure for your projects, I'm definitely open to having you guys on Late Nite JengaJam to help get word out. Or, you know, we do have a BAR where you can get to know each other a bit.
I'm definitely happy to discuss any questions you all have about the Billboard Forum or explain any action I've taken in here. I've set aside the Billboard Forum issues and Questions topic specifically for that purpose, so feel free to post in there. This would also be the place to discuss the rules put forth here.
