It depends on what you're going for with them. Their musical style can greatly vary. They can have one aggressive track followed by something on the complete opposite. Quite a bit of their stuff is a mixture though.

Just wondering, have you heard much of Porcupine Tree? They do some amazing work, especially with their album Fear of a Blank Planet. They have some very nice vocal work and very well thought out melodies. If you haven't heard them, it would be good to give it a try.

They certainly deserve more coverage. One of those bands that has a knack for technicality and how to use it wisely. And I see what you mean about the lead singer carrying Maynards accent. I could imagine both Rishloo and Tool doing some amazing collaberations together. Here's to hoping that Rishloo does well and stays that way.

I really should have heard some of Rishloo sooner. Thanks for the recommendation. This stuff is very much tool-esque, and I've yet to think of any reason for that to be bad.

Yeah, thats a good one. The Spark That Bled, Bad Days, Do You Realize, Yeah Yeah Yeah song, all of those are good. Its odd cause they've been around since the eighties, so they have this big back catalog. But no one knows that because they only really grew in popularity this decade.
