Idles fine fore a time then goes funky then its fine again? Check the Injectors, Fuel Pump and the Fuel Filter. its gonna cost you to check the pump but trust me do it. they'll have to drop out your gas tank too so let her run down to about an 1/8 of a tank before you take her in it'll make it easier for whoever works on it
or your Timing chain I prey it aint that tho. A thats a costly fix B if it is and you dont fix it it'll tear up your engine. Happened to my friend Beths car 2 years ago Timing chain was screwey and they didnt know. it threw and shot 2 rods out the side of the engin block and ripped apart the pully assembly after busting the housing off. ... thats what happens when you put an american style timing chain setup on a jap car
Saw your stuff on megaskings page. thought I'd bark in and ask whats up. I do agree with him it sounds like its your wiring but then again with the idle needing gas it may be your injectors need a manual cleaning or direct replacement I had to replace one of mine because it was jamming open flooding the cylinder and stalling the engine. of coarse it could also be the Vacume malfunctioning My vacume needs a new seal. its got a leak causing the car to idle pretty high. around 1500 it should idle at 750 or so.
