The plot thickens
Well, today's comic took a turn I didn't expect. Ok, that's not entirely true, as I read the script ahead of time. However, I bet it takes a turn you aren't expecting. Wait...did you read the script too? Dammit.

I can't imagine anything good could come out of today's comic. Except possibly more time to play WoW for Gus, which I guess is pretty awesome actually. Congrats buddy!

Last one out, hit the lights
FYI, the website will be offline for maintenance tonight. The facility where our servers are housed is undergoing some power upgrades and installing additional battery back up systems tonight. Since they will be cutting power we will have to shut down our servers while they work, wait for them to restore power, then turn it all back on again. Expect things to get shut off around 11:30PM Central time tonight. Work should be completed within two and a half hours, so things should come back online around 2AM Central time. This is the first time since our move to Austin that we have completely rebooted everything, so there may be some straggling issues that take me a little while to fix once everything comes back online, but I expect it to go pretty smoothly.

Bungie announcement in minutes? Update: TRAILER!
 Bungie.net has a countdown on the frontpage featuring the Superintendent. And a countdown to 7:07 AM (and 7 seconds), and today is the Halo 3 Anniversary. Could this be for the new game announcement skipped at E3? Official Mythic details? We're about to find out in less than 5 minutes.
