That is the highest modded image, Burnie verified it in a journal he posted a couple months ago. But like I stated, I don't care, especially now since FU isn't as big of a deal as it was in the past in how cluttered the main page has gotten, the Featured User part is pretty minor.
I thought CH as a whole was pretty well done for what it was, had a decent score and definitely pulls you in. The two things that really make you cringe are the brutal animal killings (which you can tell are real) and the numerous rape scenes.
Yea, it's because there's a non-profit organization set up gust for spreading the word so they set up these competitions to teach accessibility to participants and then hopes that the people competing will turn around and start using their knowledge now on a day to day basis (which I will be). Probably not do anything as crazy as set up 7 different color schemes, but when we made our site, one thing that we did do is make sure the contrast between colors was high enough so that people that are colorblind could still get the full effect of everything on the page.
We were kind of more amazed that we actually had a competition in my city since we're not all that known for tech, but they do have the same competition in 2 other cities in Texas, and I think there's one in California and one in Massachusetts, and that's about it really. I know that my teammates and I plan on joining in all that we can from here on, but they'll be much better as we left a couple things to the competition day of that we probably shouldn't have.
