One more week!!!

www.horrorhoundweekend.com/

I am so freaking excited!!! One week until HorrorHound Weekend here in Indy. I'm taking Friday off work and friends will start arriving on Thursday afternoon and I imagine some will stay as late as Monday when I make them leave.

I'm going to attempt to wait in line to meet Elvira again so I can actually get my picture taken with her but I don't know that I'll have time. Lots of other lines to wait in and I'm way more excited about meeting Romero, Clive Barker and Joe Bob than I am about meeting her again. Doug Bradley and Ashley Laurence are going to be there again and I'm thinking I'll be waiting in line for them as well this time around.

The dealer room at HorrorHound is always awesome. The best I've ever seen and it seems to get better each year. Mask Fest is back so the scent of latex will be permeating everything. Yay! I'm thinking I might bring some extra money so that I might be able to buy one of those masks. They are really expensive though and, I imagine, worth every penny. We'll see. I have a few movies in mind to look for and hopefully find. I would also like to find a realistic Freddy glove and a Phantasm sentinel. Maybe a realistic Jason mask too.

Next week is going to seem to last forever! God, I can't wait!!!

It's not so much about being picky as indecisive. If there's even a difference. The West Point gig would definitely keep me from doing the other two as the tesla coil thing would require 4 months of touring around the world, and the jazz thing would keep me in Cleveland. The thing I'm most afraid of is going to West Point and just being content to stay there instead of seeking new opportunities, or not being able to find opportunities like the ones I have now.

Of course this is all probably moot as none of these are in the bag yet. I'm just worrying about things I don't have to worry about yet.

....I probably already asked you that already... not everyday that I hear that answer.

I can definitely respect that! I know all my band friends always were going to the Cactus Thursday nights.

So fyi - there's more snow coming this weekend. Yay! :-P

That is good to know. I may throw you a good old fashioned Soviet Russia joke from time to time then.

Haha, well I just don't like wasting time. And dating people out of that range... would seem just like that. Different values, different points in life, and not much to talk about. Just... eh.

True, otherwise he wouldn't be a sponsor at so many things. Gotta be good at something! However, I think it's good that he still races cause from the past couple of years and getting pushed around so much... many a people would have done something else or maybe in his instance just be an owner.

Haha. I used to host parties back when - would even get some of the football players from time to time. Speaking of players, if you want JJ's phone number.... :-P In fact, so much so that I never did go to the cactus. I just equated it to the place where everyone went and I ended up going to places like Chumley's or, when it was there, Eight West, etc. I always in it for the conversation more so than getting plowed. In fact, I can't say I really ever got drunk in college just cause of my experience in high school.

But yeah, can't say I'm anywhere near the same as I used to be. My life is way to focused now. Thank you grad school. One thing that definitely helped with was making me set my own goals during a multiple month time frame. Speaking of which, I gotta run and work on my current website!

What's your name? I'll add yee on Facebook.

Dude - you're in my range. Don't get all antsy! I'm not saying you're not! Lolz. My range is typically 4 years younger or 4 years older. Various bad ass values even can take it up as much 6 years either way. It's all about being relatable - that's all I saying. You're totally cool. It's just the kids that I was having to teach in my later years at Purdue. ::shudders:: Some of them are still turning 21!

Oh really? Again, haven't been paying attention. That would have been cool. I hope Jr. does well this year. I'd like to see him make a comeback. I'd also like to see Martin do well too. I bet it's his last year... On a side note but quasi related, one of the comments I heard the other day was saying that any particular NASCAR race has the makings of a current day Tea Party. I lawled. Makes sense - practically the same people.

9 Irish was definitely my favorite hang out on campus... I got somewhat of a chance to get to meet the owner a couple of times. It was really great when they had a live band. They got a lot of pubs in Northern Michigan. Definitely a fan of pubs - just not when they get too full. One reason I could never stand Harry's (aka the sardine can).

Haha, not at all! Just saying that I'd prefer nearer my age than the other way! Need to be able to relate things to Ninja Turtles AND Power Rangers! ;-)

Sounds like you had a much more fun time around the race than I did! I can't say that I've been too into things for the past 3 years or so... ever since the last ten race thing started, I sorta fell off as I focused more on school in the Spring. Especially last year when I had to write my thesis and all. We'll see how long I stick around this year - especially when it starts getting warm out.

You speak of a pub. Anything like 9 Irish Bros up in W.L./Lafayette? I'm looking to find one here in town but having no such luck.

...and you watch racing too. Wow... Lol.... so about those friends. Any younger sisters???

Speaking of racing, how much of that race did you end up keeping on the TV the other day? I had it on the entire time as I found myself putting new faucets on a sink during the first red flag.

I don't think he intentionally lost the Superbowl. I just think he wasn't trying as hard, or he just was making terrible decisions. They didn't call any aggressive defensive plays for the longest time in that game, and you could see Urlacher turn and scream at the sidelines, "COME ON!"

We've got Lovie for at least one more year, we'll see how it goes. New offensive coordinator that should help out Cutler a lot.
