*whew* I finally beat ToVYep... I beat Tales of Vesperia! Took me about 55 hours, which is just me going straight through the story and not really doing any side quests. Why did I not do any side quests? Well because the Tales series has a bad habit of hiding the side quests and making it so it's not possible to find nearly any of them with the main character. At least, this is how it is in Tales of Vesperia.Following a guide, actually doing most of the side quests, it took a friend of mine 110 hours to beat the game. This includes repeating certain side quests so that he could obtain certain items or enough Gald (money) to unlock certain achievements. That's a huge difference and it pretty much means that the game is 50% side quests. Oh well. I may come back and play through the game again so I can get the rest of the achievements, or at least more of them. Who knows. For now, Final Fantasy XIII is out today and I intend to buy it and start playing it asap even though I have Mass Effect 2 still waiting to be played. I'll get to it, but I really wanna play FF:XIII along with a few other people in an IRC channel I like to hang out in. It'll be the first time in a while that I will be playing the same game as them since most of them are PS3 owners. It's too bad I don't share their same interest in PS3 games, because I do enjoy having other people to play and talk with about the games I'm playing. Anyway I think it's time for a little Bad Company 2 and then a shower before I go to see Alice in Wonder Land. Cheers. |
