That tremor that came after the quake in Illinois is the first time I've ever felt any kind of shaking. So it freaked me out to have my glass of milk start shaking in my hand as it was resting on the kitchen table. That freaked me out.
But like you said, you grew up around it and are used to smaller quakes and tremors the rest of us in the Mid-West would freak out over.
ok. for some reason I couldn't remember where in California you were at.
A couple years ago we had a quake hit in southern Illinois that was felt here in St. Louis... at least by some people. I didn't feel it. I must have been in a truck at work cause I didn't feel a thing except for the aftershocks when I got home.
If this pick is correct, then please see the following. If it in incorrect (i.e. a typo), feel free to post a different choice, and I will delete this one.
If it is what you intended:
Interesting choice. I've never had anyone predict a tie before, so I've never thought about addressing it in the rules.
I can accept this pick as a valid choice. But, please be advised that the only way you will score any points off of it is if the game does indeed end in a tie, thus garnering you 3 points. I cannot consider your choice when awarding the consolation single points. I'm sure you know how rare ties are in the NFL.
So, if you wish to leave this pick as is, you are welcome to do so. If you wish to change it, make a new post before the deadline, and I will accept your new pick instead.
Coolman did not put the Saints as the score on the top line, even though he picked them to win. (i.e. Even though he had the Saints winning, he still listed his score for the Patriots above theirs.)
Given that myself, my wife, and now you were thrown off by that, we have ourselves a rule change coming for this Sunday.
