Go out in the real world, not the internet, and do something nice for someone without being asked!! A Good Deed. Then come back and tell me about it. I will post these good deeds in my journals.
How do I get the other staff members awards?
I don't know ask them!
Please don't ask me to ask the other staff members to be your friend or read your script or watch your machinima.......ask them!
Tomorrow is my first OC-1 race. OC-1 = one man outrigger canoe (See picture above) The course is 5.2 miles long and should take me between 55 and 60 minutes. Anything before 55 and I will be ecstatic and thing over and 60, well , I'll just blame it on my ribs! I pulled a couple out of the socket last week and had to have them snapped back into place. So for the past 3 days I haven't done much lifting and a lot of icing. Please send all your extra energy through the airwaves for me tomorrow!

a bright bit of sunshine to send your way! tomorrow is our schools St. Baldrick day. students raise money and then shave their heads to remind everyone of their peers with cancer. it is a great and fun fundraiser. i am one of them. i have some pictures from last year in my images if you want and i'll be uploading this year's once i get them.
Well, I finally have a good deed to post. My mom and I were at Petsmart and saw an older women standing outside with two dogs and a giant dog bed. We asked her if she needed help carrying it to her car but were informed she doesn't have one. She was planning on walking across a six lane street to her hotel, and then walk back to get two more dog beds. So, we offered her a ride. She was very grateful even though we told her it was no biggy. Yeah. :]
Hi Kathleen I don't know if your following the LLRVB group or not. If your not roosterteeth.com/groups/profile.php?id=6629 . The earthquake victims need all the support we can give.
Dear Kathleen, thank you very much for the kind words you wrote on my comments page.
I'm not too sure if you have seen or received it, but I left you a message on your website where I talk about my life when I did scouting. Stereotypically, I did a lot of community service. But now I'm not longer a Scout. I'm the next step up, what we call a "Rover". As I said in the comment on your page your example has been an inspiration to me and I would very much like to discuss a community service activity with the other rovers involving helping children with cancer. There is just one problem: I have only done community service activities related to poverty or lack or education. I have yet to do something to help children with problems as extreme as cancer. I have looked around and have found about half a dozen institutions in Sâo Paulo and Rio de Janeiro that deal with helping these children. I would very much like to do something but I honestly do not know where to begin. Could you please spare a little time to give me some advice on how to start off, what particular activities I should strive for when dealing with them and how I should present these ideas to the rest of the Rovers?
Thank you very much Kathleen! Hope you are well! Mesk
P.S. Please keep updating your journal with more news about your own community service activities! I find them invigorating and, as I said before, extremely motivating!
