Wow

Had you asked me a year ago where I'd be in my life I'd have no idea that it be here. I now have a beautiful little girl, wonderful boyfriend that I absoloutely adore (had you asked me if I'd keep him after a year I would've hoped so). however beautiful little girl.. still never fails to amaze me.

I'm so excited about being on maternity leave now! Going to use it as a time to reflect, get fit again (hahaha) and going back to school to better myself for my baby girl.

I'm quite upset about how fat I've gotten through being pregnant.. should I ever be pregnant again I promise myself not to indulge myself in food as I did!

It's going to be hard work but while I'm down and lacking self-esteem it's just going to make me try harder.

Doing it for my baby and my man!

I was actually referring to bathroom graphitti my preferred medium for the marker, a place where everyone has the chance to write and there really isn't anything better there, so I say why not if you've got something original to say. But yes I agree, people should do what they hold a comparative advantage at, so whatever your medium is, I urge you to use it.

I'm glad I could be so effective as to be inspiring, but then I was really touched by the movie, so I guess all I did was communicate my feelings at the time.

It's nice to hear from you.

It's ridiculous the way things work over here too. A big part of the system can be manipulated by reasonable doubt and study of precedent. If you have the money to pay for a lawyer who can convince a jury that there is sufficient reasonable doubt, you can be acquitted of almost anything. It also helps to have "credible witnesses" which are people of wealth and authority. If someone rich is willing to say you're innocent it's considered more important that if some poor insignificant bastard says contrary. Also, if you're friends with the mayor, say because your father donates heavily to his campaign well then a police officer might be a little more likely to remember seeing your face in a mall or something. Of course he's not lying, just protecting an upstanding member of society from unnecessary disgrace, after all he would have forgotten you anyway, and you're really sure you were there with your rich, credible friends who help reassure the police officer that you were there and that his son in law will get a job with one of you're friend's dad's contractors. Justice may be blind, but she can smell money.
