I've had 3 people ask me if I diedand I'm pretty sure I haven't. Either that, or I'm the only zombie in the world that has no fascination for brains.I've neglected a lot of my online presence. I still raid in wow - its my main addiction still - but even then I'm only getting on for raids most of the time, because the rest of it isn't as interesting. My main is a mage on Nagrand server (an oceanic one) called Mangrothian. If you're an addict, feel free to chuck me a /pst Five years since I joined the site whizzed by late last year. I've met some wonderful people through this site, some physically and some only electronically, but my life in most cases has changed for the better. Some of you, its for the stupider. You know who you are. <iii Since late last year I've had a promotion at work doing all sorts of crap that my boss has loaded onto me since he's started spending most of his time in our Panamanian laboratory and since our General Manager left the coompany to go back home to her family in Canada. Everything from running the admin department, marketing, writing a new set of administrative protocols, more genetic ancestry research to more customer service, updating pricing and paperwork for 4 countries etc. All this whilst slowly training a part time replacement for some of my old work. This girl is 23, finishing a double degree in science/engineering and a diploma in secondary teaching, tutors 4 nights a week, has 2 investment properties - but she has the WORST set of life skills and basic work ethics I've ever seen in any workplace. That says a lot considering I used to work in a bank. On a plus, this means I may end up travelling again. This would mean a stopover in LA or Miami whilst heading to Panama. When that gets sorted, I'll let you all know ^_^ Still have a fantastic boyfriend. Hopefully one of us will move interstate later this year so we can stop having to pay for all of those flights. Since I went to UK and Spain in 2008, I'm pretty sure I've made at least 20-30 trips to Melbourne airport. We've been together almost a year now, and I'm glad I've found someone who has enough patience to put up with me, and still want cuddles at the end of the day. That's what relationships are meant to be like, according to what I've heard.... Doggy update? Borric is huge! Like, he puts his paws on my shoulders and almost looks me eye to eye. He's got a great attitude, he's energetic, he doesn't jump on people as much as he used to (maybe enforcer and otter_be should have come 6 months later? save you some bruises!) and in general he's just a very beautiful boy. Why would I want kids -- he's my boy, and he's neutered! So no nasty suprises when he's fully grown up Umm.... what else? Borric grew to big for my Suzuki Sx4, so I bought one of these:  I know this car had a few bad reviews, but after having it for 4 months, the only issues I have that wasn't just something different that needed getting used to is the fact that the drivers seat isn't vertically adjustable. Some people buy big cars because of kids, I buy one because of my doggy. That's the last 9 months in a nutshell. I've gained a few pounds (which I'm currently trying to lose), seen Avatar 3 times in 3D (fuck the storyline and complaints -- that movie was BEAUTIFUL to watch), seeing Alice soon, am enjoying life (mostly) and am kinda guilty that I've been slack talking to all you lovely peoples. But I know what I'm like - my brain just forgets that sometimes a journal is a good thing. I can't guarantee if I'll ever post regularly again. But once every couple of weeks, I read through (most) of the journals in my watchlist. Sometimes I even comment *gasp*, but its few and far between. I hope you're all healthy, wealthy and wise.
