So I figure
That an update is sort of in order.
I switched names, was never on, and then came back, to my old name.
And here I'll stay.
Things are.....well topsy-turvey.
Yesterday was mine and Jesse's one-year anniversary. Time flies. A year ago, we had just gotten back from Canada, and things were upside-down.
Since then in no particular order:
` I got a part-time job at a telemarketing firm, quit working at the daycare, and went full-time to dayshift. I'm not mid-to-night shift receptionist at the same place. I'm kind of everything really. It's FUCKING CRAZY.
- I moved into a new apartment in Jewelstone with Jesse, and Nika. Nika has since moved out, and it's just me and Jesse.
- I'm 21. Wu-Tang.
- My kid brother graduated. Jesse and I greyhounded to Colorado for a week. I don't advise you ever ride the greyhound, it was awful and St. Louis is a place I would never care to go again. However. The security is lax. As in there is none. So you don't get fucked with. It was great seeing everyone but we had so little time. We plan on going again soon.
- My Aunt Carey got married. I went to her bachelorette party. It was amazing.
- I'm going to see Pat Benatar and Blondie and The Donnas in August. I'm crazy excited.
- I've got things narrowed down so I should be starting school here soon. Hooray for that.
I miss all of you rvb people. Talk to me!

updates and invites to come to a "housewarming" party once we move, get settled in, and all that jazz. expect it to be mid-late January though.
Also the countdown is beginning. As of Tomorrow it will be EXACTLY six months until I am 21~
details on where we'll be going for THAT will be posted closer to the date as well.
and I'm leaving for colorado the day after my birthday. my kid brother graduates (Christ am I that old?) on May 20th so Jesse and are gonna roadtrip it to Denver to be there for it. And probably steal back whatever of my shit is still left out there, since, y'know, my dad STILL HAS NOT sent the third box.
like he sent two in hopes I'd forget there were more.

so we need money and fast
because
a) we can't tolerate it anymore
b) the lease is up in January and we are by no means following them to the next place.
c) tension is killing all of us.
Anyone know of any good and quick ways to earn a few extra bucks (aside from prostitution kthx) should definitely point me/us in that direction.
Note that I am already looking for a new job. (the daycare is just NOT working out so well...it's nto daycare...it's HER...and I'm just about finished) and may or may not be taking a second upon that once it comes if hours are still scarce.
Note also that we are going tos tart selling a whole bunch of random stuff on ebay and the like once we get th emoney to set all of that up.
AND that Jesse's stated that if we're still here by the time this quarter ends at school, he's taking a second job too.
We're running ourselves ragged and we're living broke as shit. So any extra ideas and stuff would be greatly appreciated.
That said, I did in fact venture all over Miller Lane this morning/today and put in an application just about everywhere I turned. Including (but not limited to) ALMOST every hotel, Lonestar, Max & Ermas, Cracker Barrel, etc. NO BOYS I DID NOT APPLY AT HOOTERS NOR DO I PLAN ON DOING SO.
Friday or Saturday I'm hitting the Dayton Mall. I don't particularly *want* to work there, but eh, what the hell. beggars can't be choosers. :D
right now though
my arm hurts from writing the same shit over and over and over again.
and my legs hurt from walking, because as it turns out. Miller Lane isn't exactly short.

I got the first two boxes from my dad.

Two years later, I finally have a portion of my shit back. Rumor from the father-figure is that he'll be mailing a third this week sometime.
though he appears to be sending them in reverse order

I also think I may VERY well be missing my Dagger from one of the two boxes he did send. and if that's the case I shall be a very very ANGRY Haley. >=(((

Little things:
Just getting over a Sinus and Ear infection. Jesse too, his was worse than mine, but mine made me puke. Lovely.
Moved the majority of my stuff from my mom's house (no more shotty computer whotrah!)
May well be starting school back up in either the spring or the fall, depends on when I get to all this grant searching shit. (yay!!)
Going to CO in May for my little brother's graduation. updates to follow as far as dates and time length and the like.
Making my christmas list. Be on the look out for my wishlist and the call for what select friends want. (these will likely be in personal messages.)

I got a great story idea.
and found the bestest Character Information./Bio sheet EVER to map out my characters.
So hopefully
I should have a lot of outlining and planning finalised to ACTUALLY participate in NaNoWriMo this year.

Wow.
So I'm sitting here at Sinclair, waiting for Jesse to get out of class
when I realise.
I actually miss being in school.
*ahem* so. life updates, ja?
Let's see. We're still living with a dumb ho, who proceeds to show us a new and highly uninventive way to be stupid every waking second that we see her. We've taken to completely holing up in our room when she's around and coming out for necessities like food and bathroom.
Beyond that...
Work still sucks. My boss is still crazy. I still don't ahve enough money for anything and we're still trying to move out as soon as possible.
Jesse has decided that he should call that Moment of Truth show. Because he/we could bank serious cash off of that, since, y'know, he's not a liar. I think it sounds like a fantabulous plan.
We're about to start selling a whole bunch of random stuff on Ebay to make some extra money. Also a fantabulous plan.
Anything to get money to move out faster. FASTAR I TELL YOU.
you guys have no idea how serious I am. like. If we could move out tomorrow, we'd be out today. srsly.
so any suggestions (aside from the obvious take a second job, thank you.) would be appreciated.

I was toying with the idea of going as Wednesday Addams...then I got my hair cut...and kind of considered going as Bettie Page. Which is still an option, except for the fact that that requires a lot of skin (particularly leg and tummy) showing that I'm not really all that up for.
and as much as I love pirates, my pirate costume is getting a little mundane.
HELP/SUGGESTIONS?
nothing else of particular interest is happening though. Just been busy...working to be broke. C'est la vie.
