Arkham
Batman: Arkham Asylum is amazing. I fear it is under rated though, for as good as it is it doesn't seem to have a very warm reception on the market, and it makes me sad. Hands down this game has the best collectibles in any game I have ever played, they unlock challenges, bios on batman villans, and some other neat things, and to top it off a part of the collectibles are Riddler riddles, they are really fun to solve and often force you to think for minutes just to solve them, I could spend hours of pure enjoyment just solving his riddles.
GO BUY IT GODDAMMIT

Max Payne fail
I am so sick of movie writers/directors altering video game stories for films. They seem to think it is a great idea to twist things around to satisfy a wider audiance then just the people who played the game it is based on... what the fuck! and even after time and again they fail miserably they continue to do it!
The most important one I have to mention is max payne, they altered far too much;
-Mona Sax was a hired gun who turned Max over to the mob, not an undercover cop that teams up to fight the mob.
-Max Payne was a DEA agent who went undercover with the mob to bring down their drug lord, not a cold case detective who got mixed up in things.
-Max was working undercover for Alex and Alex was assassinated in a subway station, and since Max was working under him, no one else could confirm Max was undercover/a cop and he was pinned as a suspect, NOT what happened in the movie in which Alex is an undercover agent who goes to talk with Max and gets killed
This is just scratching the surface. Max Payne had a great story line, as did fall of Max Payne. SO why in gods name did they have to alter it so much? if they had just kept the story line the same, captured that Max Payne dark feel, and THEN made the movie, it would have been fucking great. would I would have liked to see is a disgruntled undercover Max get framed in a subway station when Alex gets shot, and then goes through the whole movie trying to solve the case while avoiding the cops, and Mona have a small part in wich she knocks Max out with a drink and later gets ahot and "killed". If they had done this, and not fucked what made Max payne Max payne, maybe there would be a fall of Max Payne movie in which he hunts down his wifes killer.
What a shame.

Shadow Complex
When I went to gamestop today to reserve Batman (thats right, four days before it comes out) I decided to get some MS points and bought Shadow Complex. It is amazing so far, and has a perfect balance of challenging/fun. I am definitly impressed. I could waste my extra 400 points on an avatar costume to match that sweet overpriced light saber.... fuck that.
Now I need to download the Red Faction expansion (when they said the new area had bigger more lateral buildings to destroy I was sold) and in a few days... Batman Arkham Asylum! I cant wait for it.
I somehow started watching a how called "Lock N' Load with R Lee Ermey" (he is an ex-marine and also the crazy cop from Texas Chainsaw Massacre) and it is a pretty cool show. all he does is study one line of guns (pistols, rifles, etc.) and go along its history, test firing its most memorable models.

Vickuss FTW
Oh man, District 9 was amazing. Not only was it original, it was a great movie, and the prviews did't ruin ANYTHING in the movie, even the beggining parts were surprising. I have to say this is the best movie I have seen in years, and probably on my list of favorite movies now. There was a pretty high level of gore in the movie, which usually is not what I look for in films, but I loved the gore. heads popped, bodies were torn apart, and (only read if you have seen the movie!) That was probably my favorite part of the movie when the bald soldier/seargent was beheaded and ripped apart, never have I seen an evil character built up so much and then taken down so brutally, I was very happy Everyone needs to see this movie.
There was an unussually high number of jeriatrics in the theater, and at the beginning I was getting pissed. some old fart kneed the back of my chair to the point where I kind of flew forward and spilled some of my drink on me, and then the doss cunt didn't even apologize. to top it off, all of the old fucks were laughing at serious parts, which was really getting on my nerves from the beggining I kind of liked Vickuss, and when he was what appeared to be dying, the old terds were laughing. every time he threw up- luaghs. when his finger nails were falling off- laughs. fucking old people

Steven Seagal marathon
Me and two of my friends decided to test out xbox lives new theater feature by watching Steven Seagal movies, they were hilarious. I have to say the feature is pretty cool, its nice to be able to watch a movie with friends without being in the same room, but the "emote" feature only provided a couple of laughs (my friend Ramon would use the "scared" emotion every time Seagal got mad). It was awesome overall, we had a great time laughing at Seagal.
I am still mad about overpriced avatar shit.
Tommorrow I shall see District 9, I am really excited now because from what I have heard it is amazing. finally, an original movie that doesn't suck? that could make my day.

THANKS XBOX TEAM! NOT!
What the fuck? seriously? Microsoft wants me to pay five dollars so my douchebag avatar can wear a fucking helmet? This is blasphemy!
Microsost is the only company in the console world that charges its customers for online play, and although that does assure we get a good connection and good servers it seems they can throw us a bone for the 8 bucks we all pay a month.
I am really pissed off about this update, they have truly failed me this time. I was thinking maybe a suit of armor would be 100 points tops, and a lightsaber and other accesories would cost around the same, maybe less, but five fucking dollars? That is disgusting. I did buy a light saber with my left over points, but it was way overpriced, I should have been able to get new clothing and the lightsaber for less then that.
and another thing, I have had xbox live gold for almost 3 years and it said 0, WTF?
They very liberaly say "thanks for your loyalty" and "thanks for all the support" but it seems when it comes time to repay that all we got was the middle finger.
BTW, the lightsaber sucks, you cant change the color and my avatar hardly ever pulls it out and holds it, so it seems I spent 5 dollars for a useless elusive lightsaber.

LOL, failure
I am hopefully getting this beautiful thing for my birthday next month. It is a Ricoh CX1, and it takes awesome pictures and can shoot slow motion videos! it is everything I wanted in camera, and its really expensive, but from what I hear, I should get one for my birthday. I will be so happy.
Something really funny happened I had to mention, I was playing B.S. with some friends in class today and the girl whos turn it was had to put down kings. She called out "five kings" and put five cards down, so naturally I laughed my ass off and said BS, and she asked "how did you know" to which I responded "there is only 4 kings in a deck, you cant put down 5". pure fail.
Also I am really looking forward to this year, I get to intern at a hospital! It is a class at my school (thank god it wasn't cut due to our lack of funding for education, which is bullshit) and every week I get to go to the hospital and shadow a doctor (I spent a week trying to make my application for one of the intern spots as good as I possibly could, so I managed to get a spot shadowing an ICU doctor) and it is going to be the greatest class ever.

What the FUCK
I mentioned a looong time ago I got shot in the eye with a projectile off a rubber band, blah blah, now my eye is perminently damaged and I have some huge problems. in the morning I have a bastard eye! I make fun of people for having bastard eyes!
Anyway, the kid that did it is a huge piece of shit, he took no responsibilty and never said he was sorry, he just denied the whole fucking thing, and I was pretty pissed.
After all of that, after fucking me over, he wants to kick my ass! I havn't even seen the fucker for 4 years and now he wants to kick my ass? His words in a message to my friend were "was that that kid cameron? I am going to kick his ass, beat him half to death and have a friend tag along to tape it".
I am so pissed off now. I usually solve my problems with words, like a decent human being, but if this kid wants to come to my house and try to kick my ass, he will be met with a world off fucking pain. My anger has built for this kid for so long, and if he comes for me I will unleash all of that on him. This is not going to be a fair "play nice" fight, I am going to fuck him over. sorry for the F-bombs, but this is bullshit!
I know his threats are empty but now I have been pissed off. If he wants to venture to my house I say more power to him. I will destroy him with homefield advantage.
