Well I will be going under the knife (scalpel) or whatever an oral surgeon uses to take out my last impacted wisdom tooth on May 7. I have someone driving me since I will not be able to drive myself after.
Had to do some arguing with the oral surgeon's assistant about having her check with my medical to make sure that either dental or medical will cover the anesthesia since it will be covered under my medical if not my dental. Hate having to do someones job but if it will take my bill from being 700-800 down to my 30 buck co-pay I will do what it takes to make sure it is covered under my medical insurance.
I was also told some other stuff regarding my overbite and how later down the road soon I will have to take measures to fix it so it does not create future problems for me and the wear and tear on my teeth. Might as well since I have the insurance now. Was kind of scary given that they told me that it might require them breaking my jaw and pushing it forward some and being out of work for about 8 days to recover and oh yeah possibly braces. I don't want to think about that right now and just want to worry about getting my last wisdom tooth out.
On a brighter note, we went to Niosa in San Antonio this weekend and had a lot of fun with friends. I still have to upload my pics and will post as soon as I do that. I hope everyone had a great weekend. Have a great week.
WHEW......so apparently I have been doing good with brushing and flossing...and my last dentist was a FREAKING GENIUS...and knew exactly what he was doing...JUST PERFECTLY.....they loved his work at this new dental office and said it was looking FANTASTIC.....
Was able to get a regular cleaning...and not have to go through a deep cleaning and the needles...
The only downfall which I was expecting was yup have to get my last wisdom tooth out...so made a consultation appointment for the 23rd with an oral surgeon since the tooth is still semi impacted.....so we will see what this surgeon says....
My teeth are a bit sensitive but I figure it is normal given the amount of time i spent with the hygienist cleaning my teeth yesterday...
WHEW!!!!!!! I had a bit of high blood pressure yesterday but totally understandable given what I thought they were going to tell me...thank goodness it turned out just fine.
Hope everyone has a great weekend and Happy Easter to all!!!!
I am such a scardy cat when it comes to Dentists because I have had some very bad experiences with them in the past. Went to see one for pulling of a wisdom tooth and let's just say he did not wait for the numbing to fully kick in and started yanking away. After I kept asking him to stop his response was, 'I am almost done so let me just get this one last piece.'
I swore them off for a while and decided to go find a new one which I LOVE LOVE LOVE...he has taken care of me for a few years and when another two wisdom teeth needed to come out..I had no pain whatsover. Hell i was able to go out that night and enjoy Cedar Street.
BUT as it turns out this dentist has moved his practice out of reach for me to get there and be able to do my job. My bosses are butts when it comes to time off for some and not others so it has lead me to have to find a new one. It has been a bit since I had gone to see my old dentist and now going to go see some woman dentist and start over. I get to go in today at 3 p.m. for a new patient visit. I am soooooo scared of what she is going to say and how she is going to treat me. I have heard good things but I am still a bit freaked out. I am glad she is in my Dental Plan and not considered out of network. I made a few calls to some and they told me that they are out of network so at this time asking for the whole amount up front. ummmm then why the hell would i have a Dental plan...if making me pay everything up front. HELLO!!!! No thanks...
So wish me luck that I get to this dentist as much as my previous one.
Well I was going to wait till LN was down and no longer in existence (March 17, 2009) which coincides with my birthday on that day. I am new to this site and NOT a gamer at all. My younger brother owned some and when I went home to visit never really peaked my interest to want to play.
I will give this site a try even if I am only in the LN Group and Texas Longhorn forums for the most part. I might venture out to the other forums but will try to keep in contact with the other LNers that have been sent over here due to the site going bye bye.
I am sure that many LNers feel the same as I do about the site closing and that would be a mix of and .
Though this site has some of the same features as LN did of course it is still a bit different and I am going to miss that site.
Have a great week chicos and chicas...
btw I am looking forward to one thing on March 17,,,MY BIRTHDAY
A week from today I will be getting ready to head downtown to start drinking around noon and celebrate with my friends.
