Wheel of Time Character Sheets

Please post character sheets for the Wheel of Time RP here. Also, wait until your character has been approved before beginning to post, and try to keep the OOC to a minimum.

Another correction. If you choose, you can be a darkfriend, or a normal person who secretly helps the Forsaken and Shai'tan. These could be anybody, nobles, craftsmen, even rulers of the lands.

About the One Power:

Central to the Wheel of Time is magic, referred to as Channeling, or the use of the One Power. The One Power is made up of five elements, named according to the sorts of things that can be accomplished using them: Fire, Spirit, Air, Water and Earth. Only the most polished of channelers have the use of all five elements: most have two, possibly three.

The amount of the One Power that can be handled by individual channelers varies according to individuals but can be increased by the use of ancient artifacts from the 'Age of Legends', a previous time. These Angreal are highly sought after and are almost impossible to find. Probably the best known of such all Angreal is Callandor, the crystal sword imprisoned in the Stone of Tear, a fortress in the south of the land. Sizzling with the One Power, its bearer can instantly command Balefire, the most cataclysmic and controversial of all known spells. Balefire 'undoes' those that have been hit by it, and can devastate whole areas.

You cannot have Callandor, and there is almost nothing that is beyond the One Power, especially for Forsaken, so long as it falls feasibly within your (I'll say three) elements. Time and Life are beyond the powers of all but the Creator.

About the Forsaken:

The Forsaken are a select few who have been around since before the Age of Legends, when Lews Therin led the Raid on Shayol Ghul. Due to this, their abilities with the One Power extend over all five elements, however, they cannot use the One Power much more than anyone else who can channel. The actions of Forsaken will be closely monitored so that none are too powerful.

Here's mine. It's a tad long, so bear with me.

Name: Haydin al'Frey
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Status: Ta'veren
Appearance: Haydin stands around 6 foot 2 inches, taller than most. His pants and shirt are of white cotton, his boots, leather with hard soles made for traveling. His coat is heavier, a mix of cotton and wool, while his cloak is made almost entirely out of fleece and fur. He wears a leather belt with various satchels on it, containing anything from money and a spare bit of food, to lockpicks and small throwing knives. The buckle is made from crafted steel, carrying his family's crest, a pair of hawks, each on a separate orb, connected by a bridge. His reddish-brown hair is short and disheveled, and a short, well-groomed beard adorns his face. His eyes are like the color of autumn, hues of orange, red, and yellow mixed together. He carries a single scar across his right cheekbone, from a previous encounter with darkfriends.
Personality: Haydin is fun-loving and free-spirited, but that first impression can shatter like a thin sheet of ice when the situation is either dire or serious. Even then, he tries to keep a smile on his face, although it might not reach his eyes.
History: Haydin left home at the age of 16 with a merchant from his village near Tear. After a few days travel, Trollocs and Darkfriends ambushed the merchant's caravan, slaughtering the guards and the merchant himself. Haydin took it upon himself to flee to the side of the road in the confusion and cover himself in muck, hiding his scent. After the raiding party had departed he picked over the ruins of the caravan, taking what money he could scavenge, as well as a pair of swords that caught his eyes about a year ago when the merchant had stopped last. Luckily, the merchant had not sold them, and they were well hidden in bottom of a crate, stored in an ordinary box. The swords themselves were nothing outwardly outstanding, except they never seemed to dull, chip, or rust. No outward marking on the blades betrayed their craftsman. But the sheathes both carried half a heron, making one heron when set together. Little did Haydin know, he had come across a true treasure that he would never let go of. He would rather give his life away than his swords. He travelled for weeks by himself on the road, heading towards Caemlyn, always hounded and harried by Trollocs. Just outside of Caemlyn, two Trollocs ambushed him in the night. Without thinking, Haydin drew his twin blades and immediately dispatched one without a second thought. The second nicked his cheek with its sickle, but then fell to Haydin's twin blades just as quickly as the first. After this encounter, he sank to his knees, shaking. He had not known what had come over him, and the shock of surviving was almost too much. He made it into Caemlyn and to an inn before the fever struck him. It lasted days and days, without ever threatening to break. An Aes Sedai was at the inn during the fourth day of the fever, and managed to save him, but only barely. Haydin spent the next two months under the innkeeper's care, but made a full recovery. During his recovery period, he learned the Aes Sedai's name, and decided to show his gratitude in person. He traveled to Tar Valon, but the Aes Sedai who had saved him was not there. He stayed and begun training in the arts of the sword and fist with the Warders. Eventually, the Aes Sedai who saved him returned, and he thanked her most profusely. He spent the next three years traveling with her and her Warder, but never became a Warder himself. In the month before his birthday, he separated from them to find his own way again, but he swore on their departure that he would never forget the kindness and hospitality shown to him by those of Tar Valon. He made his way back to Tear, to take up employ as a merchant guard. His first employer died from an ambush on the road to Illian, but Haydin escaped with his life. Now 20, and yet again hounded by the dogs of the Dark One, Haydin al'Frey makes his way back to Tar Valon.

(final version XD)
Name: Jerome De'Saud
Age: appears 29
Gender: Male
Status: Forsaken
Appearance:6 foot 5
Personality: sadistic corrupt think along the lines of dark jedi
History: He was born one day after Lews Therin Telamon, almost his age. He was almost handsome, other than his hawk nose. He was the second most acclaimed man of the Age of Legends, holding high offices and wrote books, not quite as high or successful as Lews Therin. For this reason he hated Lews with every ounce of himself.

Jerome was taught all his life and mastered many different fighting styles but his favorite was always a scythe although it can be unwieldy he mastered it and is now able to match even the best of swordsman in a fair fight(to bad he doesnt fight fair...) Jerome lost his sight in his left eye in a training accident but do to his corruption the eye has turned a permanent blood red color. his masterery in channeling resides with all elements.

Jerome was a brilliant tactician pulling off gambits and risks on the battlefield with a tactical flair... these risks often payed off.
When Lews Therin Telamon became commander of the forces of the Light, Jerome could no longer contain his hatred. He turned to the Shadow in the third year of the War of Power, becoming one of the Dark One's best generals.
Full battle armor

Plain clothes(subtract scythe skull belt and flame)

Name: "Lark"
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Status: Commoner
Appearance: Lark's delicate feminine features are hidden beneath loose-fitting, common clothing. She is 5'7" and weighs 115lbs. Her pale hands are covered by black gloves to match her usually dark attire. She has dark, green eyes. Her hair is dark, of medium length, and she holds no excessive accessories nor wields a weapon other than Channeling and wit.
Personality: Having prodigal Channeling abilities and exceptional beauty, Lark is vain. She is selfish in the sense that she would look after herself before anyone else and wise from simulated personal experience gained in reading and watching everything that placed itself before her eyes. However, all of this is cloaked behind a veil of neutrality and sharp sense of justice.
History: Lark was an orphaned child that was discovered by the Aes Sedai. She grew up questioning her superiors and the world's rules at every turn. Being such a rebel, she was a bit of an outcast. This only caused her to question everything more and more, and practice her Channeling more and more. After becoming satisfyingly proficient with a certain element, she cut all ties she had with the Aes Sedai and faded from all eyes. At age 15, she had lived alone in a secluded, undisclosed mountain area. There were always enemies during that year. Not all had sharp weapons or hateful words. Hunger, thirst, and loneliness were always her greatest antagonists. At her supposed age 16, she wandered the world to find her place and a better life. It didn't take long to find out that there was no place for her in the current world and there was no better life to be found. She always had a bit of a defensive talent when it came to being attacked, however. Lark's attacker would always flee and she would feel superior for it. She decided that because there was no perfect, enjoyable place in this world that she would have to make one. She decided to become a murderer for justice. Lark's life became contract after contract after contract. Upon receiving a job that seemed wrong or foolish to her, she would meet with the opposition of her contract-maker and become a double agent until deciding for herself who was right in the certain conflict. She made a name for herself, that overlapped her fake names that she gave everyone. "Lark" was what they called her in the damp, dark places of society. Eventually she forgot her real name and went by her fake ones to her employers. Lark didn't care, though. A name was meaningless. She had finally become someone deserving of fear and respect, although not many could connect this girl to "Lark". Lark could finally change the world her own way, killing one to save many. She became an assassin with many guises that would never be seen coming.

... Is this... acceptable?

age: 19
gender: female
status: a lower status Aes Sedai
appearance: she stands about 5'3 with long black hair and a slender yet muscular build. she was an attractive woman but also gave off the vibe that she could hold her own in a fight. she has blue green eyes that can deliver a warm look and make you feel very welcome or a cold stare that will freeze you in your steps
personality: she is kind and caring and wise but has a major temper when provoked. she has a strong sense of duty and right and wrong. she can be jealous at times but most of the time is pretty laid back and calm
history: no one knows how she found out about her ability to channel but they know that after she came to the Aes Sedai that she became a very respected person among the other channelers and a fears person among those that opposed her.

Name: Rahvin
Age: Unknown, but born before the Breaking
Gender: Male
Status: Chosen (Forsaken)
Appearance: He is tall and extremely handsome, with an insatiable appetite for the company of beautiful women. His black hair has flecks of dark gray around the temples. His black eyes a bit off-putting, yet at the same time entrancing.
Personality: Rahvin always loved power, and was envious of anyone who held more than him. Much preferring diplomacy over outright attack, Rahvin would most frequently use Compulsion and subtle manipulation instead of force. He was stronger in the One Power than Lanfear and almost as strong as Lews Therin Telamon.

History: Born Ared Mosinel, Rahvin is the most powerful Dreadlord in service of the Dark One. Not much is known about his life before turning to the Dark Lord.
