Alpha Outpost * Promotion Guidelines

PROMOTION WITHIN ALPHA OUTPOST BLUES
Simply posting within the game is not enough to demonstrate a commitment to the game. You have to post in a serious manner that involves a specific task within the game as well as entering the game and departing the game properly (no falling asleep in corridors or on roof tops)

You also have to keep a log of your own posts, which would include the date that you started the sequence and completed it as well as the page number(s) where the posts can be found and the specific task posts.

For privates to Corporals, for every 30 tasks, you will advance one pay grade until you reach E-5.
For Sergeants and above, 50 tasks and they have to be outside your specialization.

Tasks within the game are things done to keep things functioning. Anything from mopping out the restrooms to putting together a meal in the Galley to policing the rifle range, washing vehicles, cleaning weapons, that type of stuff. Each task has to be no less than 5 posts and no more than 10 and NO double posting unless 30 minutes have elapsed without another poster making a post in the RP. Tasks must be done straight with no silliness, like taking out the garbage with explosives or replacing land mines with a skeet thrower.

Your first post would be getting up and starting your day. You would be in the Barracks section or your office/quarters. As you are military, getting in a few laps jogging around the base would be a good start. START DATE / START PAGE

You would then decide on a task to perform. POST #(s)

You would then close out the sequence by performing some other task like taking a break in the Rec Room, going to the Rifle Range or simply going back to the Barracks and ending your day. END DATE / END PAGE

Once you have the required number, you can PM the information to our Admins who will verify and then your name will be posted on the next promotion roster.

Addendum:
01:
If two or more individuals are posting together and complete an assigned task within the required number of posts, then each poster will receive one point towards a promotion. The start post and the end post must still be completed by each member but if one of the individuals fails to do so, it will in no way impact the promotion points earned by the other members who posted within the same task.

Addendum:
02:
Journal Entry
If an individual creates a specific Journal Entry that relates to the RP and a task that they are personally involved in, such a Journal Entry may earn up to 3 promotion points depending on the length, detail, related images and how interconnected it is to the RP. This Journal Entry "must" be linked to the RP periodically. Further, those entries that fail to be properly spell checked or ignore basic things like grammar will lose points of simply fail to gain any at all.
