AOB - Brig Protocol - OffensesBRIG PROTOCOL - OFFENSESNon-commissioned Officers may incarcerate any lower rank individual in the RP under one or more of the offenses here listed and any Officer may incarcerate any other officer of lower rank and all enlisted personnel under the same guidelines. Capital offenses, such as mutiny and murder, will be adjudicated by court martial and prior incarceration will count regarding sentencing guidelines as determined by the Court, if appropriate. Further, at the time when time is assessed to an individual, the specific violation will be documented in the post and a determinant sentence will be assigned to the offender. OFFENSE - Repeated and Gross Spelling and Grammar Errors PUNISHMENT Minimum: 1 hour per error to a Maximum of 24 hours with approval of the Executive Officer or Base Commander. OFFENSE - Offensive Posting / Neg Modding PUNISHMENT Minimum 3 hours to a Provisional Maximum of 12 hours with approval of the Executive Officer or Two Admins to an Ultimate Maximum of 24 hours with approval of the Base Commander. OFFENSE - Pet Neglect / Abuse PUNISHMENT Minimum of 12 hours to a Provisional Maximum of 24 hours with approval of the Executive Officer or Two Admins to an Ultimate Maximum of 72 hours in the Isolation Cell. OFFENSE – Simple Assault / Non-Training PUNISHMENT Minimum 1 hours to a Provisional Maximum of 3 hours either in the Brig or at Hard Duty in the Mine. Note: See Mine Time. OFFENSE – Assault with intent to commit grievous bodily harm / Non-Training PUNISHMENT Minimum 3 hours to a Provisional Maximum of 12 hours with approval of the Executive Officer or Two Admins to an Ultimate Maximum of 24 hours in the Isolation Cell. OFFENSE – Assault on a Superior Officer / Mutiny PUNISHMENT Minimum of 24 hours to a Maximum of 72 hours in the Isolation Cell. OFFENSE – Destruction/Theft of Property - Military PUNISHMENT Minimum of 6 hours to a Maximum of 24 hours. OFFENSE – Destruction/Theft of Property - Personal NOTE --- A charge of destruction/theft of personal property can only be made by the owner of said property. If subsequently withdrawn, the charge no longer exists and any punishment assessed is stopped. PUNISHMENT Minimum of 3 hours to a Maximum of 24 hours. OFFENSE – General Article The General Article encompasses offenses that are not specifically listed in the Manual for Courts Martial. It covers all disorders and neglects to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the Blue Army and all conduct of a nature to bring discredit upon the Blue army as well as crimes and offenses not capital that negatively impact the service and/or the Regiment. It is colloquially referred to as the “Don’t be Stupid” article. PUNNISHMENT Minimum of 2 hours to 24 hours in a regular cell. Special Note: The HOLE is exactly what the name implies. A Hole in the floor in the Brig with a steel trap door above it. When you go in, you are out of the RP for the specified period of time. Any attempt by the individual in the HOLE to communicate with anyone in the RP while that individual is in the “HOLE” will result in an additional 24 hour period being added to the sentence for each incident. If an individual inside the HOLE wishes to communicate with another RPer, they may do so in PM, comments or in other threads but they will not communicate in Alpha Outpost Blues RP. Special Note #2: FOUNDER AUTHORITY We presently have two RPs connected to Alpha Outpost Blues with each of those RPs having Founders. Gamma Outpost has WO3 Skysong as Founder. He therefore has Founder Rights within his specific RP and can take action for violations within his RP. Further, he has authority to call upon facilities at either Alpha Outpost or Take the High Ground RP with the concurrence of the founders of those RPs. Special Note #3: MINE TIME The purpose of Mine Time is to simulate Hard Duty Time and not simply sitting about in the Brig. As such, Mine Time requires posting and those posts do not count towards Promotion Points. For each hour of Mine Time, an individual must post 4 posts with a minimum of 10 minutes between double posts. If there is insufficient posts in the RP to assist in making posts without doubling up, time will revert to chronological time. However, if there is sufficient posting, posts will be made. Leaving the RP will not warrant not making required posts. Mine Time can only be issued by a Founder, Executive Officer or the Base Commander. |
