Hurt

sucks... but music can provide a somewhat relief.

I'm listening to Brand New.

What do you listen to when you're upset?

oh, and I'm pretty bored. But that will be cured soon when... SIMS 3 COMES OUT

Haha @ my play count for my favorite/best band ever
even though it seems like a more appropriate number for my SECOND favorite band ever

It would usually start of with Beggin - Madcon. And then I'd stick on Eva Cassidy's Songbird album and by the end of the second song I'd feel somewhat refreshed.

Usually when I'm upset or frustrated, I just listen to my paintball mix. It's all fast and upbeat, and gets me thinking about playing, so that always puts me into a good mood.

Vol. I.

Vol. II is also... soothing.

Or I'll just listen to any combination of my Death Metal / 40's library.

My cousin is excited about Sims 3 lol ... I never played Sims 2, so I guess I am not that excited ... Spore on the other hand, is quite amazing!

I listen to whatever makes me feel better about myself or spites the person that hurt me lol.

Random comment in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1:

Country, The Eagles, emo, rock, 2Pac.

It's kinda like the five stages of grief, minus the acceptance. And anger being last. So like, denial, barganing, depression, anger.

Although, depending on the level of upset-ness, "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" by Frankie Valli helps to put a positive spin on things I suppose.

All in all, good journal.

Rory Gallagher's A Million Miles Away always works for me. Or I Wonder Who and Too Much Alcohol. It was Tatoo'd Lady that got me hooked to Rory though. The whole Irish Tour 74' album is a classic.

I sometimes go for his mellower first two albums. I fall Apart is another favorite of mine. Or his first band Taste has some good stuff.

Though if not in the blues mood I go for Dredg

I know we never chatted or anything. I just couldn't pass up mentioning Rory. Few seem to know him here in the states even though a lot of musicians were influenced by him. Including a couple you seem to listen to Queen and U2. That's not to say you didn't hear of him.
