RE: My Nephew (Nerd Alert!)

Hmm...seems I haven't posted anything about my nephew since he was born. Well, let's remedy that.

First off, he was 7lbs, 4oz and born shortly after 2pm on Wed, June 24th, 2009. It's a boy, in case you couldn't tell by my use of pronouns, and his name (wait for it)

Peter Parker Findlay.

Yup. That's right. My brother, cousin and I sat down and thought of all the comic names that could possibly work as first and middle names, and that one sounded the best.

Others that we thought of were:
Bruce Wayne
Clark Kent
Hal Jordan
Tim Drake
Richard "Dick" Grayson
Barry or Bart Allen
Allan Scott
Reed Richard(s)
Steve Roger(s)
Charles (Francis) Xavier
Robert Drake

I can't remember any more. Any others you can think of?

We had a hard time coming up with girls' name, though. Any ideas?

Thats awesome. I always wanted a super hero name. He is going to be soooo cool at school. I think Hal Jordan is a cool name .

I may use Allan Scott, myself. I'd love to name a kid Hal Jordan, but it doesn't sound good with my last name. Richard Grayson might, though (but we'd call him Rick, not Dick)
