Lyridan Character Sheets

This is a character sheet journal for the Medieval Fantasy RP Lyridan.

Character Format is as follows.

Name: What are you called?

Age: What is the current span of your existence?

Gender: Do you have boy parts or girl parts?

Race: What are you? Get creative on this one, we've intentionally left no list of approved races. If you can come up with something interesting that we will approve of, it's an open race to play.

Appearance: What do you look like? Again, be creative. What are your physical features? Any identifying marks? Anything that would immediately be noticed by other players, especially observant ones (this means be very descriptive. Pictures are nice, but try to paint one with words)

History: What has happened to you so far? How did you come to find yourself in your current situation

Faction/Alliances/Friends: Pretty self explanatory. Who are your friends? Enemies? Tenuous peace agreements? If your character is often switching sides, put that here too.

Skills/Specializations: What can you do/are you good at?

Equipment: What do you generally have on you? This isn't a catch-all, so you don't have to list every last bit of equipment. Some can be acquired in-game. Just what you typically carry.

Name: Vestal Faustian

Age: 673

Gender: Male

Race: Daemonic Dreamwalker

Skills: Dreamwalkers have the ability to slip in between the cracks of a person’s mind and wedge themselves there. At first they could only appear in a person’s dreams, but as the Dreamwalker became more powerful, they were able to enter a person’s mind at any time. If a Dreamwalker wishes it, a person could be made to do almost anything against their will. No moment that person has ever experienced would be out of bounds to a Dreamwalker.

Most people were in fact protected against a Dreamwalker as it takes a great effort for them to take over the mind of a person who is not gifted. However gifted people are extremely vulnerable to a Dreamwalker.

Along with his abilities as a Dreamwalker, Vestal has studied many various disciplines of the arts Arcana, however he found Sigilism to be his most preferred method of casting. This means he must draw sigils with his hands when casting, often casting the illusion that he’s either dancing to inaudible music or practicing martial stances and forms.

History: Vestal remains largely unknown to those not directly under his command, and as such little is known about his past. A select few have caught glimpses through certain fits and moments of clarity when around Vestal, however no one knows more than a small snippet of one part of his life prior.

Equipment: Tending not to become physically involved in most circumstances, Vestal doesn’t carry a sword, as is typical of most males of the realm, however he does carry a large arsenal of knives strapped about his person, mostly underneath his clothes. On a related note, he will often be seen idly palming a blade or twirling it point down on whatever surface happens to be available at the time.

Name: Glimthworp (or just Glim)

Age: 317

Gender: Neutrality of Absence

Race: Shapeshifter (A geletinous form that can change size, shape and colour scheme to mimic just about anything. however it can't copy their magic or memories or such this way. Also, they are generally stronger when larger and faster when smaller.)

Appearance: gelatinous blob when not mimicking.

History: Glimthworp grew up, the child of a wizard from an unknown island of Shapeshifters. His father taught him the many ways of Rhystic Symbology. He was a prodigy of this art, gaining the title of Grand Master. He was happy with his success but he wished for more. Eventually he moved to City of Steam at first performing for money but he soon caught the eyes of some shady people. They took him in and taught him the ways of stealth and spying. He liked this work quite a lot and took to it like a fish to water. He soon became one of their top spies.

Skills/Specializations: Grand Master of Rhysitc Symbology (basically a programming language of reality. each symbol has a function, the more complex the spell the more symbol have to be made.). Master spy (skilled in stealth, stealing Info, Lock picking (and other forms of illicit entry) and Disguise.)

Equipment: The Venerator (A weapon capable of duplicating the weapon of anyone it's owner has bested in battle, even if they did so without the venerator.), several magical Items and spell components that are all kept in a bag of holding style space that he accesses by writing the rhystic symbols for his name and for possessions.

Name: Nevano Aranea
Age: 284
Gender: Male
Race: Dark Elf
Appearance: Nevano is a relatively tall elf with narrow, focused red eyes and black hair pulled into a rogue knot in the back. His skin is a light shade of gray and he wears a set of low-weight elven plate mail, tinted a very dark red color. He more than often wears a dark gray cloak over his armor as well.
Skills: For his entire life, Nevano has trained to fight in the shadows. He is a formidable swordsman and deadly at a range. Rigorous studying has also left him with thorough knowledge of the arcane arts, which he utilizes to the fullest whenever necessary.
Faction: If you have to ask, then you don't need to know.
Equipment: He wields twin short swords. One blade is colored crimson red, and the other is a deep, gold color. He also carries a set of solid silver throwing knives, and a crossbow, made from the wood of the trees growing deep within his home forest.
History: Nevano hails from a tribe of deep forest-dwelling dark elves. While most remain to protect the village, Nevano was one of the few to leave for the world across the treeline. While he rarely ever returns to his home, he still has a strong bond with it. His daughter, Llithasa, still remains there, working as a village healer.
While most of his ilk choose to work as freelance, Nevano works only under one employer, having long ago established a sturdy allegiance with this benefactor.

Name: Lucian
Age: 34
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Faction: Lyridic Restoration Society
Appearance: A tall man standing at 6’3”. His deep tan skin contrasts sharply with his platinum blonde hair, which he keeps bound into a ponytail that runs to the middle of his back, with bangs framing his face on each side. His eyes are sharp and cutting, colored a bright emerald green. Lucian has a somewhat muscular physique which is oft hidden by his own loosely fitted clothing, which consists of earthy brown cloth leggings with a sleeveless top, covered in turn by a dark green sleeved cowl. He also wears thick, black leather boots.
Skills: Lucian prefers not to wield any sort of weapon, preferring to use his extensive knowledge of the martial arts. Since birth, he has been unable to use any sort of magic due a unique energy dwelling inside of him, dubbed by his mentor as “Negatus Mysterium”. His master, familiar with this rare form of energy, taught him how to control it and wield it as a weapon. He is also a lethal shot with a bow.
History: While his past is largely cloudy, it is known that he was taken in as an orphan at a young age by the one he regards as his master and father. After a lifetime of training and growing, he eventually decided to move on and find his own path. He eventually 'discovered' his own purpose after brutally slaying a bandit mage in the wilds of Lyridan. Since that day, he has moved to found a group with numerous followers, dubbed "The Lyridic Restoration Society", devoted solely to the abolishing of the arcane arts, regarding them as "corrupt tools used solely for the perversion and unnatural distortion of the natural world".
Equipment: A pair of custom-built gauntlets named “The Lion’s Claws”, built to be both sturdy and flexible. Metal spikes line the knuckles of these gauntlets, and are designed in such a way to enhance the flow of his unique power during combat. In addition to this, he also carries a quiver of arrows and a longbow.

Name: G'vai Muntour
Gender: Female
Race: Human/Luna Tribe (Werewolf)
Age: 27
Appearance: G'vai looks like your average, everyday, normal human being. She has a fairly athletic build, though her body is accented with specific curves only available to her gender. She stands at about six feet tall, a common height for her tribe, though it's generally best to not ask her about that, or you'll get a history lesson. She's fairly dark-skinned. Not enough melanin to pass the Samuel L. Jackson test, but enough to appear to be from a Latin-american country. She sports one or two indications of her lineage, but those are only really visible when she wants them to be. The first is her slightly lengthened canines. Both the top and bottom pairs are longer than those on normal humans, but only the top are noticeably so. The second would be the way her ears look when she ties her hair back. They're pointed, but lightly furred on their tips. Not enough to be noticed from a distance. She tends to wear form-fitting clothes when out on a mission, though she also wears other clothes depending upon what needs to be done and where she needs to go to complete her objective. Her straight, waist-length hair is blonde, and her eyes are about the same hue as a couple of canary diamonds lodged in a skull.
Of course, she has the ability to shift into other, less socially acceptable forms, as well, but I'll leave that alone until I see a need for them.
Personality: G'vai is fairly whimsical and indecisive at her core, and can sometimes be easily distracted by anything. Even when she's planning an assassination, making minute changes to a long-term plan, or even just washing the dishes she used to make dinner, she can be distracted. She loves meeting new people, but is also a bit misanthropic, and tends to keep to herself, though if someone manages to gain her trust, she tends to give them more credit than others.
Class: Spymaster/Assassin
History: G'vai is a member of the Luna Tribe, a tribe of genetic werewolves based in several mountainous areas around the civilization. When she first began to hire out herself as an assassin, she never really thought she'd gain the edge in espionage that she has now. On that subject, espionage and information collection/handling are her two specialties. She knows things about the kingdom even the Magnificent Bastard himself doesn't, and uses that to her advantage. As a long-time misanthrope, she would like nothing more than to see human society erased from the face of the planet, but understands its necessity for the moment, though she still finds anarchy an interesting alternative. She has created several revolts in the past, if only to thin out the ranks of the humans in several cities.
Kingdom: The bad one
Weapons: She's well-trained in the use of most, but she prefers to use a zanbatoh-style weapon, as well as two backups: a rope-dart with a nine-foot-long chain, and two good-sized daggers as long as her forearms.
Abilities: She's an incredibly powerful psychic, though she herself tend to keep the talent well-hidden, using it instead to appear as a magician.
Weaknesses: G'vai's weaknesses are almost directly related to her personality. She has an intimate understanding of the human psyche, but she prefers the company of other races to the company of humans, so she's a bit socially inept at times. As explained earlier, she can tend to be easily-distracted, as well.

Age: 258

History: Damion was an Orphan from the unknown island of Shapeshifters, a little known region where he and his brethren originate. One day an Operative from (the Evil Faction) found him, took him in, and raised him and taught him many skills about stealth and assassinating people, as well as skills with bows daggers and to a lesser extent swords. So as soon as he reached Adulthood he went on missions for (the Evil Faction), such as Eliminating troublesome Magisters who might have figured out something they should not have, to simply eliminating certain people so that (Evil Faction) members can increase in power and influence, further solidifying their power. During his time with (the Evil Faction) Damion met Glimthworp, another Shapeshifter, who convinced him to go on a sort of pilgrimage back to their homeland. Where he then discovered and learned the Secrets of Rhystic Symbology. On his way back he got tied up in several other affairs, which in turn led him to a powerful Bow That belonged to his "Father" that came with Spells and Enchantments to Augment it's abilities and arrows. Now he is back at the Evil Faction's side, completing missions whenever he is called upon.

Faction: If you have to ask, then you don't need to know.

Skills: Skilled in Stealth, Good with a Bow and Daggers, but but knows his way around a Sword, fairly good at Lock picking and Rhystic Symbology.

Equipment: A very Powerful bow that was made for Shapeshifters so it can shape shift with him. Also came with a Book with spells to enhance and alter the bow at will. Two daggers.

Name: Wolfgar

Age: 100

Gender: male

Race: Fellblood

Appearance: 6'6" with blood red feathered wings, eyes with no whites or pupils just pure black.

History: Wolfgar grew up in one of the many mountain villages inhabited by his people. When they come of age at 20, the young men and women of his kind must undergo a rite of passage called the Walk of Blood and Storms. They must leave their home and win 7 battles, retrieving the heads to prove it. When it came his turn to undergo this test he left with his twin brother.His brother died in their first battle from a arrow to the eye. Wolfgar went mad with rage, killing 3 of them before they had chance to defend themselves, however the rest escaped. Wolfgar hunted the rest down after he had returned the body home for the funeral. It took him years to find them all and by the time he did he had no desire to go home.

Faction/Alliances/Friends: bounty hunter

Skills/Specializations: He can create weapons out of darkness which only last a short time after he lets go of them. He can also enter the minds of people he is physically touching. How far he can reach into someone's mind depends on how long he touches them and how much risk he is willing to take because if he goes to far it is very hard to leave. His wings grant him flight, and he can also he can hide his wings. When he does this it looks like they retract inside of him. He is also able to attack the mystical energies spells are made of.

Equipment: He has specail bag for caring the heads those he has killed and can get a bounty on

Name: Nicholas Harrows

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Appearance: Reaching 188 centimeters in height, and only weighing about 84 kilograms, Nicholas is of an average height for his age. His darkly toned brown hair goes over his sharp, hazel eyes, causing him to brush it from his face most of the time. A single scar goes just a bit off of his eye. His nose is slightly smaller that of a normal humans, and his ears are somewhat more angled, giving some the impression that he has elf blood running in his veins. After years of training, his body is in a very slim, athletic build, toned in muscle.


History: A peasant while he was growing up, Nicholas taught himself to read and write as a child, and trained himself with a blades and as an archer, hunting pheasant and stag in the forests surrounding his home. After turning 17, Nicholas left his home and joined Lyridan Rangers, traveling throughout the countryside as a soldier of the people.

Faction/Alliances/Friends: Any friends of the people of Lyridan can be considered his allies. He is willing to befriend any who can help him in any way.

Skills/Specializations: Armed and unarmed combat, archery, acrobatics, stealth

Equipment: His bow and plenty of arrows, the tips usually feathered by the hides of pheonix, dual shortblades acquired after saving a merchant along the Golden Trail of Mkron, retractable forearm blades

Name: Javor Críd (Pronounced JA-four CREED)

Age: 26

Gender: Male

Race: A magical mutt, Javor's dominant genes are human but include a bit of Elven and Tiefling through his family's tree.

Appearance: Javor is typically dresses functionally but keeps a sense of personal flair on his outfit. Generally dressing in orange with black and blue highlights, his pants and shirt are made out of spell-resistant fabric. He wears a hooded short cloak split down the back allowing him rather free movement. The cloak is also made from the same spell-resistant fabric and carries black sigils and symbols of a magical variety on the orange field. Not tall, but not short, he's decently built for his size, but not in a bulky size. More accurately described as wiry. His strawberry blonde hair shags into his eyes, but the back sticks up perpetually as if experiencing constant static. When casting certain spells or if he's provoked to a point, traits of his exotic ancestry appear, giving a point to his ears, making his eyes glow slightly red and small horns appear on his forehead.

History: Javor has spent the last 12 years of his life as an apprentice sorcerer under one of Lyridan's foremost minds of magic and is just now breaking into the world as a Journeyman. His parents were simple farm folk who have supported their son through his endeavors, believing that having a son who may become one of the most powerful casters of this age is a serious point of pride, no matter how humble your beginnings. Through these past 12 years, Javor has travelled with his mentor Yorosh Trandusen on many occasions, surviving some perilous trials. Some of which in his early apprentice years, he had no access to his magics. A valuable lesson in Yorosh's eyes. Because of this, he's no pushover with a quarterstaff.

Friends: Yorosh Trandusen, Javor's mentor and instructor.

Skills/Specializations: Javor is skilled with his quarterstaff, but not much else in the means of weaponry. He is also skilled in quite a number of magic styles, but he sticks mainly with invocations and a memorized arsenal.

Equipment: Javor keeps a waterskin with him, along with his quarterstaff, a utility belt of sorts with pouches full of various magical components and a spellbook that he keeps in one of his pocket dimension pouches which he created with the help of his mentor.

Name: Jenas Aenad
Age: 22
Gender: Most certainly male.
Race: Human, because humans are cool

Looks: Like his entire family, Jenas has light-brown hair and a slender posture. Unlike the rest of his family, he is rather tall as well. His green eyes would be nothing out of the ordinary if it weren’t for the small scar under his left one. He lost the tip of his left ear at the same time. Jenas keeps his hair short, to make sure it doesn’t get in his way. He does, however, keep a stylish moustache, making him look a lot more handsome than he’d be otherwise. Other than that, the most notable thing about him are his creepy, long, thin fingers, especially when they’re moving fast.
Clothes: During the day, he mostly wears dark-brown with black clothes, in style, of course. The most likely combination would be well made, dark-brown trousers, an ordinary black shirt and a black, with brown lining, jacket in the same style as his trousers. He also wears a belt, with his family sign engraved in the buckle. This belt is not meant to keep his trousers up, but it isn’t just for show either.

At night, however, he prefers tight, dark clothes, to make sure nobody notices him in the dark. Just dark clothes though, not completely black, because every decent sneaker knows that black stands out at night. Dark blue or green is more like it.

History: Born in the noble (and wealthy) family of the Aenads, Jenas went through rigorous training standards, courtesy of his father. He was trained by the instructor his father hired, a man who Jenas completely despised. The two main things he was trained in were melee weapons, which his dad thought showed status and politics, which his mother found important. Jenas usually got along better with his mother than his father for that exact reason. At first they tried handing him a sword, but that was not exactly Jenas’ forte, so to speak. It wasn’t versatile enough for him, as you had to hold it in one specific place. So after that, his instructor decided a battle-staff might be good for him, and it was. He wasn’t a natural at it, but by the age of ten, he had gotten pretty good at it.

This was all he was educated in, but he didn’t find it enough, so he spend his spare time in the library, studying other things, often together with his mother, who greatly encouraged him in this choice. He also taught himself to use almost anything he could find as a weapon, including his belt. He wasn’t the oldest son (he had two older brothers and a younger sister) which meant he wasn’t the ‘heir’ and he was relieved because of it, because the way his father treated his brother… well, let’s just say Jenas was glad he wasn’t standing in those shoes.

This didn’t mean he didn’t have any responsibilities though, and man, did he suck at having responsibilities. After a while he, as all good teenagers do, started to rebel, that didn’t work out all that well though, as his father pretty much kicked him out of the house at the age of seventeen.

But not before he raided their treasury. He then travelled to Nestalium, where he found out his understanding of politics worked pretty well in the… darker areas of the town. He bought himself a house and started gambling in the local inns. He won quite a lot, but with that, came accusations of cheating. One particularly foolish bloke decided to attack him because of it, leading to Jenas’s scars, but also to the man being rather surprised when a belt of all things broke both of his arms.

After that, nobody dared accuse him of cheating, but nobody really dared to gamble with anymore either, so he had to pick up another line of ‘work’, this one being stealing, which is what he’s still doing today. Apart from just enjoying his freedom, of course.

Alignment: He hardly has anyone to talk to, and any allies he makes are purely proffesional and temporary.

Skills: As mentioned, he can turn almost anything without sharp edges into a melee weapon and fight pretty good with it too. He can do some nifty tricks with his hands as well. Plus he's a thief, I mean, it speaks for itself that stealth and agility are his main fortes
Equipment: His belt and some lockpicks.

Name- Myra
Age- Approx. 23 years of age.
Gender- Female
Race- Argonian
Appearance- due to a genetic mutation, her scales have taken on a deep blue color. she is slightly taller than an average human, and she keeps her figure lithe, as required for survival in her occupation. her usual attire is the red robes of a 3rd rank Librarian, first being the highest rank.
History- after an all-too breif childhood in her village on the southern fringes of Madmist Swamp, she moved to Nestalium at age 17 in search of knowledge in the ways of magic. choosing to apprentice under a rather quiet Librarian, she began to learn a very precise, very structured form of magic from her mentor, and was allowed to experience first-hand the wonders of The Library. mere months after she'd been tought the basics, her Mentor was brought into a position of importance in the library, siphoning away the time he had to teach Myra untill she was left with only a few moments every week to speak to him. a time went on, she slowly grew more powerful, but was never able to earn her teacher's recognition. oneday, after making a ground-breaking discovery relating to the enchanting of objects, she ran to her idol and showed him her discovery. he was turned away at the door, her discovery filed away in one of the many documents of the library's top floor. she was heart-broken, her teacher had pushed her to the side and had forgotten about her completely. knowing that the only way she'd ever get his attention again, she officially joined the Library's staff, and began to work her way up the ranks towards her tutor's own position.
Faction/Alliances/Friends- works as a Librarian, and as such has allies at her place of work.
Skills/Specializations- she uses a form of sigilism that does not have to be drawn, but instead must be summoned in sequence to chain-togeather many symbols all at once in order to form spells with specific functions, resulting in slow, but difficult to break spells. Myra tends to enchant the weapons she uses in order to give herself an edge in battle. tending to use a sword, she has also been trained to use most blades, though she heavily preferrs using shortswords.
Equipment- one shortsword that is almost always enchanted, a few clockwork gadgets from the Library, and the robes of a third-rank Librarian. other than those objects previously stated, she carries a few potions and other essential items for her line of work.

Name: Phoenix

Age: Roughly early thirties.

Gender: Male.

Race: Psycho-phobic (He attacks people’s fears using his mind in layman’s terms. Explained in 'skills')

Appearance: covered in his black cloak in order to conceal his identity. He is marginally tall than the average human.


History: He is a disciple belonging to a young clan (as in the time the clan has been in existence) of chosen individuals taken from ripe childhood and trained to become ‘psycho-phobic’s (explained in skills). The clan is not too picky regarding their member’s race/species however tend to pick individuals regarding heightened intellect.

Fraction: If you share his goal he might not kill you in your sleep.

Skills: Phoenix his trained in the art of assassination and has many athletic abilities such as high level parkour ability and possesses superhuman stamina and agility. He has been trained to be a quick thinker in a pinch. Being a ‘psycho-phobic’ Phoenix has the ability to absorb the fear of a target/victim. Also possessing the ability to psychologically manifest the fear of the targeted individual into reality. This ability can cause the target to severely panic, and if the fear is intensely manifested by the psycho-phobic can cause death.

Equipment: Clan sword as shown in image. A claw that is placed on his hand used sometimes as a weapon but mostly for grappling onto walls and ledges. The claw device has a grappling hook gadget at the wrist with an extensive rope, which is enchanted to increase its strength, no thicker than the eye of a needle. The force behind the grappling hook is fairly strong, being able to firmly embed itself in a stone wall.

Gender: Male
Race: Sathari

Appearance: His skin is a sickly tint of green. Poisonous spikes can be fired from his hands. His brown hair stretches down to his back, and his beard goes as far as his stoumach. He also has patches of thick patches of hair on his knees and enlarged forearms. Humanoid anatomy, always wearing a worn down longcoat with a dusty brown pants under that. He has hoofs and a tail. Short guy, thin stature.

History: Aliscus was born and raised in a slum district of Nestalium. Over time he's established many underground contacts for secret trading of magical goods to keep going day by day. All the things in his pockets are rare and/or illegal items. He's very good at noticing detail, and has created quite an extensive and accurate knowing of the supernatural. He owes a very large debt to his mysterious and shady clients, most of which want him dead.

Faction/Alliances/Friends: He'll play for side he likes.

Skills/Specializations: The poisonous spikes can be shot from his hands, and if pierced by one you will be temporarily paralyzed. In Sathari form, his senses are heightened, he can see much better in the dark, and he's a fast runner.
Equipment: His longcoat is full of secret pockets. Special (and most likely illegal) trinkets and items hang on the inner side of the coat. He does conceal a Khopesh behind his back (of which he is very skilled at), just in case a deal goes bad.

Race: Wakas: No eyes, they see through sonar imaging and thermal, sharp row of teeth, gills like an amphibian on the nose area, and a tongue that is a foot long out. Generally they can fall off and regenerate quick (as well as other body parts) because it has a second mouth that can be used for poison biting and spitting. They are very athletic.

History: A loner and joker, likes to fool around. He's tired of having 23 children to take care of so he killed most of them and disposed of his testicles.

Faction/Alliances/Friends: Rogue, easily convinced if there is fun.

Skills/Specializations: Aerobics and athletic, very flexible and quick. he can transport short locations and long locations, travel time depends on how far (If it's from one city to another, that's about 10 seconds of poof time, while a few meters is instant), portal magic, and kinetic magic. Sigilism is his form of using the magic, primarily with his hand movements. The more pain he endures the more powerful he becomes, buff wise, hence all the barb wires.

Equipment: Besides the clothes that magically weave back together like his natural regeneration powers, his chain is kind of like the one in ghost rider: Only he can use it, it is superheated, regenerative, and only he can use it. If he is not holding it, it wisps back to his body, and to regen fully it's about 30 seconds to completely heal. The barb wires are used to continuously give him pain and humor. His cigarette never burns out (like the clothes) and is like the chain in it's devotion to the user: no one else can use it. It can put out if he chooses to, and lit up again likewise. He also has numchucks on his back that have sharp edges.

Ohmes-raht are similar to the race of men, save for their short, light-colored fur and eyes and ears similar to that other Khajiit, among other things. Appearance: a tall(id say 6'3) white creature covered in a white carapce type armor that completely covers it, it has one set of wings and two tails that go down past its feet. It keeps both its tails wrapped around both respective legs until they are needed for either combat or guidance through the air while the wings are kept folded behind its back untill needed(im unsure how large to make the total wingspan, when i post a link to the picture ill ask for an opinion). The main feature of Hecatondies is that all over its body are symbolic runes that give it extremely potent magical abilities....at a lack of stealth if it ever needed it.

History: 16 months ago in a dark cave in an unknown land Hecatondies Sigma was created by an alchemist with the single dark thought of creating the ultimate weapon to conquer all. The creature itself had immense strength and durability of its own accord but lacked any intelligence. To cure this the alchemist covered the creature in runes that powered its intelligence and gave it the ability to call upon magicks, it also allowed the creature sentient thought none of which the creature hinted to the alchemist in haveing. Believeing now that he had a powerful yet still dimwhitted creature he went about tameing the creature...bending its will to his control, but unbeknownst to him the creature was already planning its escape..and his demise. The night finally came...with the power and knowledge that had been growing since the day it was born the creature broke free from its holding and slew its creator with a powerful blast of lightning, the last thought that ran through the alchemist mind was not of his own but from his very creation standing over him. "Tis fate that the creation slays its creator, for the power and wisdom you gave me i grant you a swift painless death, but it was your malice, your hate, your greed that has lead to your demise". With that last thought the creature cremated its creator with one blast firey magick. Much time has passed within its mind as it traveled along the great land. following the great trail it set its eyes upon an approaching city, one much larger than the many it crossed through in its short time. his presence was unwelcomed in the smaller towns and villages, the smaller cities faired no better yet they still allowed him to pass through. It was this city, this capital it remembered being referred to, that he was seaking. A place where countless races gathered and lived in harmony, this is what he sought.

Skills/Specializations: A creature of great power and strength Hecatondies much prefers to be peacefull only turning to violence when the need is required, though capable of fighting amongst highly trained warriors it prefers solveing problems with words rather than destruction. due to the armour covering the enirety of its body Hecatondies is incapable of any coherent form of speech, but he is capable of telepathy(the skill is only one way, it can only project thoughts in..not take any out thus makeing him incapable of being a mind reader). Hecatondies' single strongest skill is its skill in magick, although it is capable of useing nearly any element as a weapon it much prefers the mercy that lightning brings with the numbness it brings before he delivers the final strike.

Equipment: Hecatondies does not require much of anything except air to breath and limited amounts of sleep(the time of rest extends after battles where much energy was used for magick)

History: He has spent his life by the sea as a little boy. He was born on his father’s ship named the ‘Demon of the Sea’, soon after his birth his father ordered his mother to take him to land and raise him until he could assist with running the ship and the ‘family business’.

When the captain came of age (15) he left his mother and assisted his father in the ‘family business’ which he soon came accustom to call ‘piracy’. He became a skilled swordsman and adapted to sea life quickly.

Roughly 90 years later, the faithful day came when his ship and its crew were set up by local authorities of the ship’s previously faithful harbour. The ship was boarded by the authorities and his father was killed in battle by the captain of the guard.

Kreigus upon escape of the bloodshed vowed to avenge his father at any cost. His father’s ‘Amagaenian Parrot’ named ‘Crae’ is the only friend he has kept through his years on Lyridan since the parrot also has an elongated lifespan. After careful planning and training he has became in touch with magic through his mother’s elvish side of the family. The first step is getting back his ship from the authorities.

Fraction/Side of Allegiance: Kreigus has gathered a few warriors from his travels in order to take back his father’s ship. His father’s parrot is his only companion.

Skills/Specialisation: He is a master of sword fighting and knows his way around destruction magic as well as various miscellaneous spells he picked up whilst on his journeys. He is known as one of the best captains of the sea and intends to take his rightful ship the ‘Demon of the Sea’ as his trophy.

Equipment: He jumps from ship to ship as he conquers new crews across the sea making his way closer towards the ‘Demon of the Sea’. He has an elvish cutlass given to him by his mother after his training. He also has a variety of trusty stereotypical pirate gear.

Appearance: Vedalken are tall, blue skinned humanoids who sometimes have four arms. They're appearances are similar in nature to Africans. Dominic himself is of the four armed variety with stern features and an ever tired expression as if he felt the world was a bit too much for him. He is tall and semi muscularly built (nothing impressive just sort of solid.) He wears Black Robes with white trim and tiny white symbols in the pattern. He carries a silver staff with a blue crystal mounted in it.

History: Dominic was raised in a moderately wealthy family, they could afford to educate their children and send them to the mage's college but they where by no means rich. Fortunately for Dominic he excelled in law. Once he finished college he became aid to the magister of his local neighborhood. He and the magister became close friends and when the man retired he was elected in his place. In his new-found seat of power, Dominic reveled in his new ability to change and improve his community, but he hungered for more. After several campaigns his fellow local magisters elected him district magister of their neighborhoods. It is still his desire to continue to advance however so he has begun to make friends with many of his fellow District magisters.

Faction/Alliances/Friends: Magisters of Lyradin.

Skills/Specializations: Dominic is skilled at making friends and winning people over, He's also very law minded and tends to be good at figuring out how to make things work. His magical ability is mostly general knowledge though he does have fairly honed skill for restriction magic, which is to say magic such as locking someone in place, dulling their ability or keeping them from performing certain actions. He restricts himself to only the legal application of these skills of course.

Equipment: Protective armour under his robes (because you just never know.), Scrolls and spell components in pouches around his waist, A staff that helps to strengthen his restriction magic and an extremely silly helmet with metal wings coming up out of either side which he uses on occasion.

Name: Yorosh Trandusen

Appearance: Yorosh is more often than not found wearing plain brown pants and a plain white shirt with a leather jerkin over it. In his youth, he stood at an above average height, but with age, he has bent to shorter. He keeps the hair upon his head short, and the hair upon his chin long, both locations grey. If one was to see him, he would be the very definition of "Greybeard." If asked his age, he'll tell you anywhere between 60 and 80 years, where actually he is about a century older, his advanced age staved off with the sheer amount of magical power he has used to extend his life.

History: If the tight-lipped old geezer would ever tell anyone anything about his past, it would be colorful, to say the best. He used to live within the City of Steam, working inside the Library as a young man, working his way quickly through it's hierarchy, becoming a 1st class Librarian by the time he turned 65. His station of power didn't last very long, for in those days, the power structure of the Library was much different. A coup within the very walls of the Library saw Yorosh out with a none too pleasant farewell. That day, he slew no less than 13 of his former comrades and students in order to escape alive.

He managed to pack away most of his work away and took it with him as he escaped. Some of the less significant of his work was burned, but some of his more dangerous discoveries and secrets are still ferreted within the Library's walls. His mark that he had used within the Library has since been marked as taboo and is now associated with severe punishment and on occasion, death.

As far as anyone in the Library knows now, Yorosh Trandusen is dead.

He still goes by his normal name in the small village that he lives in on the very outskirts of Lyridan, where he met Javor Críd, his pupil. However, he goes by Old Gyter when officials and tax collectors come through, and the villagers support his ruse. He is well liked, and his extent of knowledge has helped them through many crises which the government had no notice of.

Friends: Javor Críd

Skills/Specializations: A master of many magics. Adept at many more. His magical prowess is of that befits a former 1st class Librarian. Also skilled with staff and cane, he taught Javor everything he knows. He looks like a helpless old man, but you wouldn't know if you ever fought him.

Equipment: Yorosh keeps a few select things in some pouches that he keeps on his belt, but he keeps the majority of his supplies in his cabin. He is usually found when outside with a walking stick or a staff.

Appearance: He is 186 cm in height with a rather small, pointy beard he likes to keep in shape, thus always trimming it whenever he can, killing the mustache and full-blown beard as well. His hair is a dark brown as well as his eyes. He has a very good physical build resultant from heavy training with the Dracoknights, granting him quite a good amount of strength and stamina as well as muscle structure. He bears a long scar from his left ear, a part of it actually missing, and going down his face and all to the way to his chest, resultant from a battle in which he had to defend the eggs of a traveling dragon from raiders. Even with this wound he fought them off along with a few other Dracoknights and as such, got his current armor and sword. Speaking of which, his armor is made up of a blue torso cover, somewhat heavy but not much of a problem for him, and well as golden leg and arm plates, along with a pair of gloves made from metal fibers like medieval mail armor, with a single metallic bar where his knuckles are located, all for better punching power. Besides that is a sword who's silver handle resembles the head of a dragon staring at you seriously, with the blade having the shape of a 50's Coca Cola bottle. In his head he wears a blue helmet that actually looks more like a hat and not attached to his armor. On the sides it had short silver horns. This armor identified as an excelling fighter, meaning he was better than most, but he wasn't an elite of the Dracoknights. Not even close. As for clothing, his shirt is green with brown pants and the boots he got when joining the Dracoknights.

History: Rodklium has had quite a life in the Drachben Gorge. The son of fishermen, he joined the dracoknights at the age of fifteen. Up until then he had lived quite a peaceful life, mostly as a vegetarian, eating fish from time to time as well. Once he joined though, he went into strict training with whatever weapon he was best with, which turned out to be the sword. Through the Draoknights, not only did he learn how to fight. He learned basic magic from Dracomage friends and learned what honor was, adopting a strong sense of it and of justice as well. The same adoration of the dragons he had grown up with didn't need any nurturing. They were the bosses, you were the servant. Simple as that. As the years passed, he fought against bandits and even got the chance to ride on one of the War Balloons. However, his moment of glory came when he and a small group of Dracoknights successfully repelled bandits from the nest of a dragon, protecting the eggs there while the mother was gone. This taking place in the outskirts of their territory, their job to protect the mother and the eggs as that dragon migrated elsewhere. This resulted in his large wound which left a pretty large scar on his body, but granted him the respect of his leaders, awarding him with better armor to defend himself and an improvement to his weapon. He was also given the right to leave the Drachben Gorge whenever he felt like it, deciding to use this chance to go train outside, and learn of the world. Face whatever challenge there was out there.

Faction/Alliances/Friends: The Dragons and everyone at the Drachben Gorge. But basically any dragon he meets, as it is almost an instinct for him to take their side in anything.

Skills/Specializations: Swordfighting, hand-to-hand combat, basic ice magic he learned from a mage friend.

Equipment: His armor, with helmet included. His sword. His journal. A pocket watch. His special combat gloves, on at all times. A magical ring given to him before he left, which allows him to heal his own wounds, or that of others if he wishes to, alot faster than normal. A badge on his pants identifying him as a Dracoknight. A small knife, which he carries always in case of trouble and can't reach his sword.

Appearance: Alex’s skin is slightly pale, and his he has black hair, cropped in a military style. He has no facial hair. His eyes are an icy blue, and he has a scar over his left eye that stretches from just above the eyebrow, all the way down to his jaw-line. He is of average height, around 5’10”, and weighs about 175llbs without his armor. He is lean, like the average elf, but slightly more muscular.

History: The Dark Elf sect that Alexander hails from is very mysterious race. Not much is known about them other than the fact that they view themselves as better than the other races, and they seek immortality. Also, it is rumored that they practice Black Magic, with no concern over the possible consequences of such actions. They live far to the south of Nestalium, yet maintain an “Embassy” of sorts in the city itself. Visitors other than Magisters are rarely allowed, and visitors to their homeland never return in one piece, if they return at all.
Alex is part of a detail assigned to the Embassy. He is part of an elite core of foot soldiers known as the Blackguard. The Blackguard are trained to do one thing, kill the enemy, which they do very well. Their physical bodies are honed to peak condition. Their minds are honed as well, as they use their hatred of their enemies to kill more brutally. Alex is one of the few Blackguard who know a bit of magic as well, which is why his skin is paler than his comrades.

Faction/Alliances/Friends: As a Blackguard, Alex hates everybody until they prove themselves “worthy.”

Skills/Specializations: Blackguard are trained to their physical limits, and are masters of close quarters combat. However, Alex knows a bit of magic as well. He doesn’t know much, but what he does know is very powerful, and is only used as a last resort.

Just re-doing this one for my own purposes
Name: Shuuya Ryujin
Nickname: Ryu, 'That Damned Dragon'
Gender: Male
Race: Eastern Dragon
Age: 5430 (Unknown; he just says random numbers when asked)
Appearance: (Only to be used as a base idea of what he looks like)
The above is, essentially, a picture of Ryujin. This was carved moments before the artist's death (though the dragon isn't to blame, to be sure). That's why the whiskers are so short. Ryu's whiskers are, in reality, about three-quarters of the length of his body, and a silvery color. The rest of his body follows this coloring scheme, varying in shades and tones of silver varying from white to a dull grey. His eyes are crimson. He's about a hundred and fifty feet from nose to tail, and the rest of his body is proportional to that.
Personality: Ryu isn't the normal kind of dragon most of the Westerners here would think of. He does have a hoard of treasure that he keeps, but that's way back in the Far East. He doesn't take tribute unless it's in the form of 'smile-girls' or barely-dressed women, and even then, he tends to release them without harming them in any way. Unless he's hungry. Usually, though, he solves that problem by raiding farms and whatnot. You know, eating cows and such. He's in the West on vacation, but might change that depending upon how he feels. He hasn't felt much like traveling lately, so he's been in Lyridan for a while.
Class: He's a dragon. He doesn't have a class.

Weapons: Teeth, claws, tail, magic.
Abilities: Wingless flight, powerful magic. Doesn't breathe fire. Most of his spells center around the control of water, wind, and lightning. His most powerful spell is an electrical one capable of sending a charge of three teravolts at a target. He can use it on occasion, but rarely twice in the same twelve hours. Electricity is his strongest element, as well; he can create it with a thought, as opposed to water or wind. When he uses a water spell, it uses the water in the air, but it's weakened slightly if he doesn't have a good supply of water nearby. His wind spells vary in range and intent, but the offensive ones form a slicing edge of air that tends to act as a sword when he swings his arm, doubling the effective range of his mélee combat skills.
Weaknesses: Barely-dressed women of any race. Holds alcohol well, but when he drinks, he does drink to excess.

Race: Half troll, half human.

Appearance: Gunther stands just under seven feet tall, with broad shoulders and a heavily muscled frame. His hair is black and he wears it long with the sides tied back and the top falling over them, he keeps his beard trimmed to within a couple inches. His skin tone fades slowly from a light tan on the front of his belly, chest and neck, through darkening shades of green on his face sides and limbs, the flesh of his back is a rich brown, rough, and bearing the appearance of a gnarled tree.

History: Gunther is the son of a huldrer troll and an unfortunate human soldier caught under her spell. Most bastard children of a troll woman would be left as a changeling and a large portion of them killed early. Gunther, however and for reasons unknown, was kept and raised in a village set deep in the trollmoors. At 23 his human side led him to travel beyond the moors, and he made his way selling his sword, merchanting, and sometimes acting as an ambassador for the more civilized of his people.

Faction/Alliances/Friends: The Troll nobles, a group of trolls dedicated to rising above the savage, tribal tendencies of most trolls. College of Healing. Name: Rebecca Elis Alsherd, known as the "Crimson Lady" amongst the Dragons and the people of the Drachben Gorge

Appearance:

History: Descending from one of the most prestigious families in the Drachben Gorge, Rebecca grew up with an excellent education, even being able to accompany her father to visit the Citadel of the Elders, where she was able to listen to conversations between dragons and elderly elfs, which allowed her to learn about things the majority don't even know. As soon as age permitted it, she joined the military forces against the wishes of her father, joining the ranks of the Dracoknights. However, through time she showed a great skill with long weapons such as spears and axes, even though her sword-mastery was lacking. She also showed great talent with magic, and was appropriately train to handle it. Due to the potential she showed, she was sent multiple times to defend their lands from outside forces such as necromancers with undead legions, or dragons that had decided to turn against their own kin. Those commanding such defensive efforts took notice of her fighting skills as well as the courage and valor she displayed in such times, giving her such recognition that in the end, the very dragons who fought alongside, or should I say over, her also grew to respect her. Eventually she was given the honor of becoming a Dragonlord at age twenty nine, thus becoming the youngest person to be given that title. Currently, she commands the forces of a War Carrier, a giant zeppelin-like airship with structures built all around and inside it, kept afloat by a combination of noble gases and propelled by air magic.

Faction/Alliances/Friends: Anyone from the Drachben Gorge. But more specifically, her partner dragon, a young Storm Dragon by the name of Zelgius.

Skills/Specializations: Great combat skill with lances and axes, even though her swordsmanship is regretably worthless. Great skill using magic, though due to her age she has yet to learn powerful skills and is still mastering those she does know. Thus, she uses magical items to help her improve in that area.

Equipment: A poleaxe forged specifically for her using the fire breath of dragons. A Dragonaxe, if you will. Two scales used to improve her magic. An eastern dragon's scale to improve her magic abilities in general, and the scale of a Storm Dragon for other purposes. She also carries a pendant with the shape of an isosceles triangle, decorated with tiny rubies along the sides with a central emerald in the middle. Inside is a family picture. That is about it in terms of what she carries with her, though she does have other things for use.

Race: Shebaro belongs to a race known as the Serpiente. The average Serpiente is very similar to a human, albeit shorter and more slender. Also, they possess a pair of fangs which retract and lie across the roof of the mouth. These fangs are capable of producing potent venom, which if left untreated will lead to fatigue, hallucinations, paralysis, and ultimately, death. However, treatment is relatively simple, as most normal healing spells and potions will counteract the venom. Serpiente are notably more agile and flexible than most humans. As they age, their appearance grows more snake-like.

Appearance: Shebaro is short for a Serpiente, standing at only five feet. He is slender, with narrow shoulders and small limbs. However, do not mistake this for physical weakness, as what little bulk he does possess is lean muscle. He has a deeply tanned complexion and jet black hair, which hangs to his shoulders in a style similar to dreadlocks. He routinely wears black paint around his garnet eyes to accentuate their bright color. Shebaro's attire usually consists of baggy scarlet breeches, tucked into gold colored knee high boots. He also wears a scarlet vest, lacking sleeves. A gold sash hangs across his chest and back, where he fastens his scabbard.

History: Shebaro was born the seventh, and youngest, son of a tyrant ruler in the southern archipelago. Being the youngest, naturally he was the favorite and was doted upon constantly. However, he was also last in line for the throne. As such, he was always on the lookout for ways to usurp his siblings' positions.

As he grew, he was forced to learn the ways of his house's most ancient and revered discipline, dance. Shebaro was not keen on the idea, and tried to convince his father to let him quit. He did not see how it could possibly help him in life, until one day one of his father's personal entertainers disabled the guards in the room and very nearly killed his father.

Seeing how both the assassin and his father moved with such grace and dexterity, and how his father triumphed using his magic, Shebaro was eager to be taught. He spent almost all of his waking breath studying the disciplines of martial arts and sword combat, as well as the fire magic of his father.

In time he developed his own technique, a blend of his three disciplines. His brothers', seeing how he was becoming a threat, plotted to take him out of the picture, permanently. After narrowly dodging an attempt on his life, Shebaro's father sent him to the mainland, to keep him out of trouble.

Faction/Alliances/Friends: Shebaro is outwardly very friendly, and will try to make friends with everyone. However, he really doesn't have any concrete loyalties, as he's very impulsive.

Skills/Specializations: Shebaro is talented with his two butterfly swords, and his fire magic. However, he truly excels at using his body as a weapon, by the way of his agility and flexibility.

Equipment: The only thing extra Shebaro carries is his twin butterfly swords, which fit into the same scabbard to give the illusion of there only being one blade.

Appearance: Standing at roughly four feet tall, Vhelen is short and stocky, much like the rest of his race. However, what he lacks in height, he makes up for with a body bristling with muscles, enablig him to lift most two-handed weapons with ease. His hair is a dark red color with a bear that hangs from his jaw in intricate braids, complemented with an equally thick mustache. His brow is set in such a manner to make him appear perpetually angry, even when he's acting his friendliest. His eyes are cold blue and battle-hardened.
He most always can be found wearing a set of smoky black platemail with a white skull painted over the breastplate.
History: Vheles is a surface dwarf. Once, he lived amongst his folk in the underground dwarven city as a proud warrior. He was born to a prosperous family and eventually married a noblewoman. However, not three years after their marriage, his wife was killed when an old dwarven tunnel collapsed, burying her alive. Since then, he became a bitter drunk, seeking to drown his sorrows in booze. One day at the tavern, an obnoxious dwarf noble got the bright idea to mock the drunk soldier. Vheles had become used to this sort of treatment. However, the nobleman made the not-so-bright decision to ridicule his deceased wife. Not five seconds after, Vheles had cleaved the man's skull cleanly in half with his battle axe. He was later charged with murder and exiled from the city, never to return again.
Rather than feeling despair, Vheles saw this as an opportunity to start his life over again.
Faction/Alliance/etc.: Vheles lives as a soldier-for-hire and part-time treasure hunter. As such, he survives on his own, but won't say no to a job with a good enough price tag.
Skills/Specializations: Vheles is a Berserker. In battle, he works himself into a raging frenzy, then focuses all of his anger on whatever he wants to kill. During his berserk rampage, his strength seemingly multiplies tenfold, leading to battles where he fearlessly charges in with a massive weapon in each hand, mowing down everything in his way.
Equipment: One large heirloom battle axe named Stonesplinter, first wielded by his great-grandfather who reputedly used it to fight off a horde of renegade stone golems that once threatened the dwarven city. With this, he also carries two smaller axes on his belt, good for either chopping or throwing.

Appearance: [Michael stands at 6ft 3” and has a 4ft 8" tail which he can use as a weapon.

History: When Michael hatched in the swamps of Rabukka he was shoved in a world of hunters and hatchers after Chalmrah eggs. Michael, being fertile and able to lay eggs, learnt to dissappear quite quickly. Eggs, which are used to make some of the finest foods, are in high demand because they are so rare. Michael left home to search and meet new people. He went to Nestalium for that reason. People took advantage of him but he got away. Now he has decided to try again. He is now armed with several knives and a katana and is skilled in martial arts.

Michael is a timid and shy creature, like all Chalmrahs. He doesn’t have many friends but is very loyal to those he has. He has been taken advantage of before and will not give his eggs to anyone unless he wants to under his own free will.

He uses his claws, teeth and tail as weapons along with his knives and his Katana.

Michael has some money as he sold one of his eggs. He owns a small house at the edge of the city and every time he runs out of money he sells an egg. He now has a job and only sells an egg if he is desperate.

Michael eats fish, mainly Tuna or Salmon and drinks plenty of alcohol. Alcohol is healthy as it keeps his immune system working properly. It does not affect his system like alcohol does to humans.
