So uhGot a phone call from my mom today.I guess my aunt (by marriage, so I'm closer to my uncle) stole all my uncle's money and flew to Japan to live with her daughter (not from my uncle; from a previous marriage), who is there with her husband who is in the military and is stationed there. She left a note. ...I'm used to stupid, crazy family situations, but this is by far the most ridiculous I've ever had to deal with. Seriously. Who does this? This is like the plot of some bad movie. And how did my uncle know what was up? She left a note. I honestly cannot imagine what that note said. "Taking your money, going to Japan. kbye." EDIT: I should preface this with the fact that, as it was, my uncle was an alcoholic and he did pot nightly. I cannot imagine that this development will help him get over either of those things. (And, for the record, my aunt drank a lot and did pot with him, so it's not like she's a victim here.) |
