Bad timesAnd usually my catchphrase is 'good times'...1. Left my backpack in the cafeteria and apparently someone stole it. (None of the cafeteria workers could find it, it wasn't at campus security, or the information desk in the student center, or anywhere else.) Bye-bye, $250 in textbooks, all of my notes and syllabuses (syllabi?), and my planner. People are stupid. 2. I have a new creepy stalker person. It's seriously ridiculous. She keeps inviting herself to EVERYTHING I do. And is just a creeper in general, even if she didn't have a bigass crush on me. But yeah, I've heard reports from several people (as if she didn't make the attraction clear enough herself). "She came up to me and was asking, 'if you really liked a guy, would you tell him?'" was one report I heard. And there were others where she was apparently expressly talking about me. As a Resident Assistant, I'm trained to help people deal with this sort of situation if they come to me. That makes it no easier at all to deal with on my own. If she would just ask me, I have my answer prepared. But on top of being a stalker, she's amazingly timid and will not speak up about anything. Augh. 3. And ATM stole $20 from me. It deducted it from my account but did not produce any cash. There are one or two other things, but I can't think of them. Fortunately I've become addicted to Dexter. It is amazing. I borrowed season one from a friend, and went out later that week and bought the first three. I'm four episodes into season two. Do not ruin anything. I am obscenely serious about this. I love stuff like this with legitimate twists and turns, and if you ruin one... I don't know. We will probably not speak. Don't. |
