Labor DayYesterday I went to a BBQ at one of the stage-managers apartment and today I went to a BBQ at a friend's house who is in the Technical Direction program like me. Good times were had at both places, but tonight I made a killer venison round steak. Nice and juicy with the right amount of spices. I've been taking the opportunity to spend more out-of-Krannert time with my classmates and I'm glad I am. It's nice to be able to socialize about non-work related things.One more journal until I hit 500. I still haven't decided what I'm doing but it's probably going to be super anti-climatic because that's how I roll. For now I'll leave you with a few peoples of my nephew. He's 15 days old now! Grandpa & Zane:  With Mommy & Daddy:  BIG YAWN!  My sister's two dogs so far have been wonderful with Zane. Sunny (pictured here) has been really curious and tries to lick him from time to time. Ozzie I don't think has gotten too close but he'll come in the room and stare and then leave. I think he's just confused but it's good they are both behaving well.
