Do The D-A-N-C-E, 1-2-3-4 FIGHT!

He speaks. Pretend to listen.

So, it's been a long while since I last did a journal as myself. So firstly, I'd like to give thanks to everyone who participated in RTH the other weekend, especially to those who liked my representation of Jay. He's a good soul, and I'm glad I was able to have the opportunity to have it for a while.

School started 9 days ago. It was a rough start for me emotionally, because I still had the feeling that I didn't really belong anywhere that I went. Things are a bit better now, cause the work load is piling up and I don't time to be sociable anymore. I'm currently revising a paper on Titus Andronicus which I've concluded is the shittiest play I've read. Ever. In addition to Shakespearean Studies, I've got Euro Military History, Elem. German II and Poetry Reading, so it's bound to be an interesting semester all around.

Did I tell you I got Call of Duty 4 for the PC a couple of weeks back? Probably not, because it's been ages since I said anything on here. Let's just say that multiplayer on that game is so freakin easy. On the 360 I gave up on getting any better after reaching 1st Lt, but on the PC I'm at Major General and gaining. This is a lesson for all you console people out there that bitch about how people keep owning your sorry ass. Just switch to PC. You'll be a god.

No new music scores in the past month. Jesus. I've been getting a lot of new Primrose League tracks, but I don't want to review them until the album's complete. But here's on tap for next week: I'm definitely getting Muse's The Resistance on release day (Sept. 15th in the US). I've also been talking to this kid on the bus who's a total music nurd, and he might lend me the new Arctic Monkeys album, plus The Libertines' debut. So keep an eye out for a journal containing those reviews, as well as a few possible surprises thrown in.*

A random reflection. At a barbeque on Labour Day weekend, I got a marriage proposal from a 4 year old girl. It was amusing, yet kinda unsettling and soul-destroying at the same time. Just thought you should know.

And that's it. Keep the faith, don't believe the hype, give peace a chance and don't keep me waiting here. Lead me to your door. Later.

- Brian

We had a couple side bets before the match...and let's just say that Tucker's mouth now belongs to someone else's balls. - Church, OMG Humped PSA S3.

*I've been watching omgidontkno's movie review blog since it started a week ago, and it got me thinking. Should I start my own blogspot for all these reviews I'm doing, or should I try and gain a larger following of RT users before venturing off the journal? Gimme feedback and I'll you forever. Sorta. Thanks.

Probably get a larger following on RT first. Internet popularity doesn't just pop up out of holes in the ground when you get a blog.

I would know. I put ads on my blog for a bit of extra cash, but since it was made, my blog has earned $0.05. Whoop-dee-fuckin'-doo.

Probably be easier to get a larger following first.

But if we played on the PC, we wouldn't be able to bitch and whine about playing on a console...

Feel better. I too have been proposed to by small children.

I also had my ass grabbed by a 5 year old once. Disturbing to say the least.
