Mind boggling

I was under the impression that Lady Gaga was a creation of the synthetic ideology of creativity. An autotuned, short-term investment by the label, i.e. she's not a real musician.

However, it would appear that the VMAs have shown not only that Kanye West is a "jackass", but that she can in fact sing live (to a rather nice orchestral arrangement of Paparazzi), and not only that, she can play piano. Whilst performing a unique and interesting dance routine.

My world has been turned upside down. I don't know what to believe anymore... can Britney Spears sing as well? Have I been lied to all these years?

I hear she's written songs for a lot of other acts prior to becoming a performer herself. So it would seem she has some talent. Doesn't make me like her music any better.

I like that she can actually sing and that she writes her own stuff (which is increasingly rare I think), but that performance kinda scared me. I think her over the top personality overshadows her music.

She is beautiful, that's for sure. I love her voice its always changing in different songs. I listened to her do a heavy metal version of Poker Face it was epic. Btw: she is not a intersexed person, she is just a woman.

Just because she sang live DOESN'T mean she sang WELL. She totally sang like a man. Maybe when she works on nailing how her own song is supposed to sound according to her album..then maybe I'll try to work up some form of aw for this rediculious marilyn manson wannabe pop princess freakshow.
